OK, ok, ok, who's going to be the first to post their "Beach-Blanket-Speedo" load-out? Just you, your speedo, and you primary/secondary weapon? I would and all, but I'd have to beat all of the haters (or lovers, **shivers** )... not to mention, if Mrs. h0 saw it, I may as well EXPECT to not get any, unlike the usual not getting any.
**Actual Conversation from the h0 h0useh0ld:**
Boy: "Daddy, where's next Gombie?!" (charges plastic AR-15)
Daddy: "Oh no buddy, he's coming for your baby sister!"
Boy: "NO WAY GOMBIE, I WUV MY SISSY!!!" (ratatatata with plastic AR-15)

There are very few people here who should be seen in a speedo. I am not one of them.

Nah, Walker was having problems with his acog so he got a mini-eotech as a back up. got it from the armory.

We would turn our broken gear in if we had an armory to turn it into....out in the middle of nowhere trashghanistan.

The Eotech he got from a re-supply we had, we can get but not send out....

Nah, if I had the NVG's on when I took a photo with flash, it would have probably burnt my retina out...I've had temporary flash blindness from not moving my head quick enough and catching a glimpse of a flashbang at night wearing NVG's before, so staring into a camera flash right infront of my face, I can't imagine what that would do to my eye.

Huh. I always had heard they had automatic cut-out circuits, to prevent you from damaging the tube/your eyes.

They do. It would just black out the NVG for a second or two and that's it. Same thing happens if someone shines a flashlight into it... everything gets blacked out except for the flashlight beam.

It's not an EOtech, it's a J-Point.

I think the human eye cathces the amplified light faster than the tube cuts out the light, and thanks Davepal for correcting the eotech, I knew it wasn't a "mini-eotech", just forget the name so thats what I referred to it as.

Dude I've seen a few of your post and tried to keep quiet. But this is getting a little sad. NVG's dont put out enough to have a serious effect on night vision much less "burning out your retina" Staring at popups wont even do that. I only bring this up because some people who don't know better will buy your BS and could potentially suffer for it. I understand that your army strong and need to feed your ego but don't endanger others in that endeavor.

Woah, calm down man. Just stating my own personal experiences and opinions. Not trying to state that what I say is the law and theres no staying from it. Just giving my two cents. If you have more experience with the NVG platforms that I do then I'll take your word on it. I was simply stating from experience.

As far as feeding my ego goes, not really sure where that came from but, okay... I give my opinions on subjects based on the most relevant knowledge I have to the subject, if I am wrong than I am wrong, but don't tell me I'm feeding my "army ego" based on what I have said. Anyways, not trying to turn this into a flame war, just backing up what I have said.

Fair enough, sorry bout that I get a little opinionated when intoxicated. And I hate when I see people basing their actions on movies and myths.

As far as NVG's they can't put out enough light to do any damage to a human eye, the cutout is mostly for the optics which are a bit more sensitive. And the newer gen you get the more they seem to be able to take and better image resolution they have. I've never seen a set that fixes the depth perception problem but monocular systems seem to be a lot easier to use. My 2 cents.

lol, no worries bro. Like I said I was just stating my opinion, I'm guessing that the set I had that wasn't cutting out properly was an equipment failure....wouldn't be suprised since you know the old saying, your gear was made by the lowest bidder.

That doesn't look like you - the skin is darker, the eyes are darker, the eyes appear to be a different shape.

You appear from other pictures to be pale and red-headed...?

That'd kind of negate the entire principle behind the cut-out ckt, wouldn't it?

I don't mean this to be a flame but dude, you're a trip... Maybe I'm just looking at this all wrong?

I guess I'd say that it is difficult to take someone at their word when their word appears to contain inconsistencies. When a person presents themselves in a contradictory manner it causes others to question not only what they are currently saying, but things they have said in the past. A bit of the old "Sewing the seed of doubt" and all that rot, you understand.

Anyway, I was just curious.

i ain't getting bent over it lol. Not that I'm actually awake to type this with more thought I get what your saying, and I can partially blame myself for not having worded subject posts better and things of the like, but at the same time like I said, I'm not gonna go into each superb depth over each thing I say. I know what I've done and seen, my boys in my team know what I've done and seen, and those are the only people I'll ever have to prove myself to, and I've done it so, I guess you could say this really doesn't bother me as much as it's just getting old. But anyways, sorry for the thread hi-jack, if you feel the need to continue this spyder just PM me.

It's got nothing to do with what you have or have not done, what you have or have not seen or what "your boys" do or do not know about any of that - you know, grey-area stuff I wouldn't know about

It has to do with what you have said, right here, in black and white for all to see. I'm not challenging you to prove yourself nor demanding you hold yourself accountable to me. I've gone back and read quite a few of your posts, I got what I needed, no need for you to waste any more of your time.

I question whether Sgtlucky1987 is human, at all. I suspect that he is in fact a construct of evil forged by dark magics from dryer lint, bits of twisty wire, and the souls of murdered children, and that he was set forth upon this earth to release the Ogdru Jahad from their celestial prison so that they might wreak devastation over the whole of the world. But, that's just one theory.
