odd but possible weapons for in a pinch situations

Postby Raziel » Thu Jul 21, 2005 2:04 am

the more I think about the more some of these items/weapons make sense.such as;
guitars:fun to play and very powerful if weilded right(note: Fooly Colly)
misceanlaneous metal poles: easily found and also powerful if weilded right
battery powered nail guns: adjust the safety and you got a nail gun at your fingertips, just be careful it can backfire and wind up hurting you.
tall lamps:damn they hurt!but they are light
I'm looking for new other ideas. hope to hear some of yours.......
Peace through superior firepower!

fooly cooly... while in the pic i saw it was a Rickenbacker (Gods gift to bassists) there is almost no reason to use a guitar as a weapon when you have a metal pipe or an axe also note that fooly cooly is a cartoon. why can't we use gundam robots? But seriously don't use a guitar... eventually we will find a generator to plug amps into and then control the wasteland with our rock music.

EDIT: Guitars also seem to have a nasty tendency to explode whenever i hit them on someone or something. Yes i did hit a friend with an acoustic guitar one time and no it is not recomended he got a concussion.

Almost anything can become a weapon, it's all down to your imagination. In reality (apart from distant weapons like firearms) their just a harder/heavier/sharper than normal extention to your arm. Join the 'Paranoid Walking club' When you walk into a room just take a look around at what's not screwed down and have a think of how you could use it as a weapon ?(Crush or Slash or Puncture). You'll be surprised at whats available in a pinch if you want to get nasty

Good Luck

I no longer need to paranoid walk thanks to my mini crowbar! All the durability and functionality of a regular crowbar but 1/3 the size!

I think the most under-apriciated melee weapon is a golf club.

The shaft is too prone to bending or breaking for my own taste.

rope and rock/anchor combo for when you have the high ground advantage

Any of my gardening/yard tools

Hairspray and Lighter combo (say like you have one trying to get in the door your hiding behind) - probably not do much good though.

Slingshot from high ground?

I can think of a lot of stuff to do with parts of my Grill and mower/weed eater - but we cannot discuss those here.

pens and pencils to the eyes?

Catch one in an oven and broil it (dont ask how you get them in there cause i dont know)

Abandoned vehicles would make great weapons - if utilized by the right person and knowing where to aim....

How about a rock. Sure it will tire you out quickly, but as a last resort it is potentially the most deadly melee weapon on the planet.

How about a toilet tank cover (for those of you that have seen Saw, you are probably picturing that image right now).

Some more: shovel/spaid (not the gardening kind), fire extinguisher and lacross stick shaft.

Sho-vel! Sho-vel! Sho-vel!

I'm talking a garden shovel, not a small one, though those are a topic for anothet time.

You would be able to get enough of a wind-up on a shovel due to it's size that the capacity to break a skull seems obvious to me.

If you're mentally ill, you can also sharpen the blade.

Guessing you saw war of the worlds eh? I also had a thought of using rocks. Slings or throwing them off of buildings could work.

I agree, a hoe can be dangerous, she could give you some weird infections. 8)

I like the idea of just dropping very large rocks/bricks/cinder blocks off of buildings.
