Hey folks,

Just got an update from the BoD regards chapter logos, the situation is thus;

Each chapter is able to develop their own personalized logo for unofficial use, pending approval by the BoD

Sounds good so far.

This logo is not to include the ZS trademarks, but the chapter designation (ZSC:XXX) is permissible

We may need to rethink our approach, I haven't checked but I'm not sure whether ZSX (containing the trademark 'ZS' is allowed)

This new logo is for chapter use only--not for material sold at events or for official communications (like letterhead). T-shirts for members, placement on fliers, forum banners, etc would be great uses for this personalized logo.

Hope that clears up some questions, the skype meeting has been rescheduled til later in the month so if anyones got some additional questions I'll pass them on at that time.

So we adapt and overcome. We buy a load of the existing patches and then get out own one with a Union Jack related X on it and then sew them side by side.

Let’s be honest, read any Regimental history and it will be full of “unofficial” flashes / patches. Given the makeup of this chapter we need to stamp our “regimental” identity on it. Even if permission is given in the future for a chapter patch we should keep them as two separate patches.
