I think the creepiest thing that ever happened to me was when my first cat died.
We had a cat since I was very young and by the time I was about 17 he was pretty old and died. He and I had a special relationship and he hung out with me the most out of the rest of our family.
It was pretty sad for me. Anyway, I always had a picture of him stuck in the corner of my bedroom mirror and about a week after he died, I decided to take it down and put it in my drawer....just kind of a moving-on thing I guess. The next night after I took the picture down, I was sitting on the end of my bed which was by my bedroom door that led into a hallway. I was reading so not really looking at the doorway but in that general direction and out of the corner of my eye I saw a grey and white blur go past my door just above floor height. My cat was grey and white. I get up and walk into the hallway and look down it both ways and see nothing.
This happened each night for several more nights......I'd just catch a glimpse of something but not really looking in that direction, I couldnt say for sure what I was seeing.
after about a week of this, I decided to put the picture back up on my mirror.
I never saw the blur go by again.
I left the picture there until I moved out of my parents house.......I guess he just didnt want me to forget about him.

Nope, just regular helium-filled balloons. It was really weird to say the least.

Never have seen a bigfoot or sasquatch, only on those jerky commercials. But they do turn up from time to time here in the Big Mitten.

Saw a UFO once about 20 years ago. I was dropping off some friends after a youth group meeting when one of the guys in the back seat yelled for me to stop the car. This was guy who never got excited or raised his voice. And now he was yelling. What could I do? I stopped the car and we all got out.

He pointed into the air and there it was. Three lights, a large one in the middle with two small on either side, close together like they were connected, bright white in color and intensity, were moving across the sky from west to east. Really fast. I mean F-22 Raptor speed. And no noise. The lights were steady, never blinked and when this object entered a cloud bank, we could see the beams shining from the lights in the clouds. In about 5 seconds, it flew out of visual range.

We all live near a large airport and have watched aircraft of all types, including a F-117 Stealth fighter once, fly over our homes, day and night. We have seen conventional aircraft take of an land at night and from all angles. We know the sounds of jets, helicopters and small prop jobs, and the lack of noise and speed it what really freaked us all out.

I have never seen anything similar, except about 5 years ago I saw something close to it but it literally dissapeared before I could get a good look, so I don't really count it.

Off course, with my job, I see freaky people every day.

As far as sighting of strange creatures, anyone who is interested, please read any of Loren Coleman's books on cryptozoology of John Keel's Complete Guide to Mysterious Beings.

Er, not to delve too far in to TMI. But...I believe you're confusing cats and dogs. With dogs, their is a knob-like swelling on the penis that can cause the 'sticking' problem. It's the male cat's penis that's barbed. (sorry, the concentration in my minor of Animal Science was reproductive physiology) While we're talking about that though, a boar's penis is shaped like a corkscrew and the average amount of ejaculate for a boar would almost fill a soda can. :) My fave professor used to always love to tell the incoming freshmen that during orientation, preferably when one of the guys was ready to drink a soda they'd just purchased out of the vending machine in the arena...

A pink toilet with a small chunk of floor attached sitting in the middle of the highway. The rest of the house was spread over a twenty acre field. A house is not suposed to have its bones hanging out. I had never seen a tornado strike before.

The cat has a barbed penis..ahh ....Thank you for the correction.

Speaking of scary cocks.
Not the strangest thing I've ever seen but I once saw a photo of an older relatives boyfriend (almost husband) in shorts. The type of shorts men used to wear in the '70's. Nothing strange about the background it was a sunny day and he was wearing a nice shirt. But his johnson was in some type of semi-wood pointing down his leg a good few inches. Very disturbing picture and glimpse in to something I never wanted to know about.
ugh!

A few years back, my wife woke me up and said she heard somebody yelling for help. I went outside and followed the noises and when I rounded the corner of the block I live on, I saw this:

Image

I guess some numbnuts who lived in his VDub van had some candles burning for light. He had to piss, so logically, he stepped outside (bare assed naked, mind you) to piss in somebodies yard, and slammed the sliding door on his van.

This, of course, knocked over his candles, so he tried to open the door to fix the situation. Ooops! He'd locked the door. He started screaming for help, and when I got there I saw this naked hippie pounding on the window of a completely engulfed van.

I suggested he move back and that I had called 911, and as he did, the windows started exploding. Then the fire reached the engine, and shit started flaring up REAL nice. Next thing you know, the starter started shorting or something, cause the van started lurching forward and hit the car in front of it. Repeatedly.

My neighbor gave the dumbass a pair of old jeans and when the volunteer fire department got there, all they could do was stare at it and laugh their asses off. They put the fire out and lectured the guy about open flames in vehicles, then left.

The next morning, it looked like this:

Image

Watching the van lurching into the back of the other car was the weirdest thing I've seen without...ummmm...assistance.

I saw a large dog run across a field, into a creek bed and a naked man run out.

The man was not seen entering the creek bed. The dog did not exit.

Foot prints in the creek bed went in a straight line *dog dog dog dog man man man man* without transition.

You figure it out.

was working retail many moons ago. an old guy, easily in his 80s, shuffling through the clothing racks, stops, thinks for a bit, then leans to the side, shakes a turd out of his pantsleg, and then continues on walking as if nobody noticed or cared.

We stared at it and called housekeeping. They didn't believe us.

One of the other employees put a paper bag over it, and there it sat for half an hour until the cleanup crew arrived.

In my years working retail as a student, that's actually happened twice when I was on the job. Once at a grocery store, and once at a hardware store (at the grocery store, I missed seeing the actual drop off though). My first response in both cases was outrage, but then when I considered how humiliating it must be for the person who dropped off the extra cargo, I was able to mellow out a bit. Not that pooping in a store and leaving it for someone else is ok or anything.

Great stories!

Back in the 70s, I saw a UFO fly slowly and silently into, and out of, a long narrow valley. I was on top of a mountain looking down at it. Thought it was a helicopter at first but it was silent. Not sure if they stealth choppers back then.

A couple of years ago I was hiking in the woods in Oregon and found huge man-like footprints. Probably 16 inches long. If it was a guy he must have been tough as hell to walk through the stickers barefoot. Creeped me out!

The best one though is the time I was hiking along a trail in California with my girlfriend.
A beautiful naked woman came walking towards us on the trail, dressed only in a pair of red devil horns. As I tripped on my tongue, my girlfriend said to her, "I love your outfit."

It was impossible almost to drive because it looked like we where driving backwards. It was difficult to coordinate. Pulled over shortly after.

I've had that happen too - it's very disorienting. I also experienced a similar effect in the summer - right at sunset, on a windy day, with about a million dandelion seeds floating on the wind. The sunset was a REALLY intense blue & pink, and right as the sun dropped behind the horizon it made all the floating dandelion pods kind of "glow" bright silver. It was like driving in an alien landscape for about 30 seconds.

Your girlfriend's quip-fu is strong. :)

I was driving through the less touristy end of Margaret River for work two or so years ago and was approaching the roundabout at the south end of town. A guy in an old Jag swung past me, entered the roundabout and proceeded to circumnavigate the roundabout twice before crashing (quite gently) into the structure at it's centre, he got out and just walked away.

At the next intersection I watched as a small sedan drove up to the stop sign, a naked chick got out of the driver's side and ran around the car, got back in and then reverse back down the road she in the direction she came from.

In not less than 5 minutes down the road I saw in a paddock one of those bigass hay rings for the bigass round bales rolling down a fairly decent hill. As I got a better look through the roadside scrub I noticed two guys inside it, like man-sized bipedal hamsters.

I was 15 or whatever, and I was playing with my dog in the yard, when suddenly this green 2-door POS, comes flying down my street ( with speedbumps) and slams into the rear of my Aunts truck, (which she just bought) there was a 300pound monster driving and a guy with a mullet in the passengers seat, and they were struggling over the wheel. Fat guy puts it into reverse, slams it forward and BAM right back into my Aunts truck, Well everyone in the house comes running out to watch this fiasco, with many screaming 'what the hell is going on' .. they ended up reversing and slamming into the truck about 5 more times. When half a dozen cop cars roll up they get the fat guy outta the smashed car ( impressive site) and high-five the guy with the mullet.

Turns out it was a drug bust, fatty tried to run. guy with the mullet=cop.

Saw a guy get knocked out cold by a clam.

But wait, you say, how can an innocent and sedentary bivalve do such a thing ?

This one was dropped by a sea gull (they do that to bust them open and get the goods).
