When: Friday February 8th

I will miss Ash Wednesday and this because of a trip to CA for work. Curse you anti-serendipity.

OK, let's plan on it then. Next Friday, 7p at the Tap Room. I have a new contest or two with prizes again this time.

You monster. You would leave your child and sweetie behind in a disaster? Bring 'em along- this event is family friendly.

I don't know if giving my kid frostbite while dragging him on a winter hike through the south side would be considered "good parenting". Also, his legs are about 1.5 feet long at this time.

Buy your kid some pants and some mittens. He'll be fine.

Or slap his ass in a wagon, that would be pretty cool.
:)

This is why you aren't on the babysitting list.

Yeah, you could get one of those tacticool battle wagons people around here seem to be so fond of... Kinda like a small, ass mounted turret gunner!

Make sure the wagon has seatbealts, or he'll pop out as you haul him over the snow drifts sometimes known as sidewalks. :)

I win! :)

Now that I'm thinking, I'm sure we could rig up my deer cart to hold a variety of backpacks and a toddler or two using only para-cord. There's only a little blood left on it from this year.....

:D

That cracked me up!

OK, Friday looks like it'll be beautiful for hiking. Come prepared. There will be a prize for the person who is the best prepared. I have chosen 10 categories of preparedness. The theme this time will be "Earthquake" so come ready to survive an earthquake.

OK, that's a great idea! Themes are fun.

You should email about it on the mailing list since most of the locals never log in here.

I didn't take any. I was too busy stopping Pete from plummeting to his death.

No way I would have died. I bounce really well. Plus, I have the balance of a cat.

That's drunk.

With three legs.

And no whiskers.

That said, I have no pictures. I have almost of full minute of video that's pretty much worthless.
