Wally World 9mm Price?

Postby DeltaUpsilon » Wed Feb 13, 2008 12:02 pm

Taken from another forum:
just came from Wally World and their price for the 9mm Winchester value pks just went up nearly 3 dollars overnight. From 15.73 to 18.56.

Can anyone verify this? If you are at Wal-Mart and the price change hasn't taken effect, and you need ammo...might be a good time to buy some and then follow the link a few posts above to get a good deal on the Fiocchi...

Hopefully SG will not end up canceling back orders as they did with some 7.62 surplus last year

Wolf® 9 mm 115 Gr. FMJ 500 rds. (WX2-52589): $70.97 (Reg) / $67.42 (SG Club)

DO NOT SELECT THE 1000 ROUNDS (WX2-52588)!
For some unknown reason, an order of two cases of 500 rounds is cheaper than one case of 1000 rounds.

Per SG's description, "Rounds are polymer coated, for smoother function and longer storage life." SG's representative photo is incorrect. It shows the old style lacquer coated case. The polymer coated ammo can be seen on Wolf® ammo website.

Regular Price: $70.97 x 2 = $141.94
Shipping: $15.99
Coupon Code Discount: -$10.00
Regular Grand Total: $147.93*

SG Club Price: $67.42 x 2 = $134.84
Shipping: $15.99
Coupon Code Discount: -$10.00
SG Club Grand Total: $140.83*

Get coupon codes from my other post on page 2.

Bumping this b/c you all need to order quickly. The price is set to increase to $216 per case, a $66 increase.</strike>
I just increased my order to 4 cases, for $608.27, $.152 <strike>cents</strike> per round.

The 100 round green/white boxes of Remington UMC 115grn 9mm HP has jumped from $19 to $23 in my area. The WWB was $15, but now it is around $19.

It's a sad, sad day.

I couldn't resist this math conundrum. You just said that you paid $.00152 per round... having the word "cents" trumps the "$" and thus divides your decimal by 100. This is the reason we still right checks out the way we do.

I have a trainer certification coming up and I just payed $360 for 2K rounds of S&B range safe 9mm. This is seriously getting rude! And on a side note Wa state is considering the micro stamped ammo. What happens to reloaders in the event that this law is passed? Ant

It is a good deal to buy two or more cases. One case's shipping is $16 but I ordered two cases for $19.95 shipping. Total came to just under $310 for two cases shipped.

I ordered two cases of this which came out to the $310. Sportsman's Guide ran it on my card for $444. Holy fuck. Going to have to call them tomorrow and see what the hell they are doing. Keep an eye on what they charge you for this.

I just got an email that the bullets shipped yesterday, 2 months earlier than expected. Which means since I just got the other case this week, I'll have better than 4k rounds of 9mm just sitting around, crying to be shot.

Good thing there's good weather forecast for the weekend! 70 and sunny, can't beat that!

edit: see below that they over charged me by $70 on my credit card

The story from Sportsmans Guide is that it was a computer error and the price was no longer good so the $444 was the correct price. We called twice and complained. We then called our bank and informed them of what happened. Bank told is that unless the contract specifically says they can change the price at will(which I never saw), they can't do that. Someone from Sportsman's Guide called me last night and said that since it shipped already, they would go with the $310 price and credit me the overcharge.

Thanks for pointing this out, I might not have noticed otherwise. The shipping notice email did not have prices on it. I contacted my CC company and sent them my order confirmation form too, showing the $310 price. They will do something if I get grief from SC.

First time I've done business with Sportsman's Club. Might be the last, too.

I should have known better

Last time I ordered from them they sent me the wrong ammo TWICE and it took 2-3 months to clear up

I ordered 1000 rds of the 9mm

They over charged me $ 69.00...I called and got the original price...they tried to get an extra $2.00 for shipping but I told them I would refuse delivery

I have both their email and a printout of their confirmation so they were soooo screwed

I am really glad I saw this!!!!

And with WWB going to $18.42 / 100 (plus tax) this is a great hedge

The information about the price being advertised as differnent just came out a few days ago. Apparently some people were overcharged, but you should have a good case to dispute the charges.

In my case, I placed the order on 2/11, doubled the order to four cases on 2/15, order was shipped on 2/21, charged on 2/22.

I was only charged $609 for four cases, so they honored the advertised price. YMMV.

Actually....there should be no discussion.....stuff happens but they should make it right

I would have less issue with them trying to cancel the order or get you to pay more...although that would still stink....

(They agreed to sell you XXX for $xxx.00 so they should do it or not accept the order in the first place)

Simply billing you for more than you agreed to is flat wrong...if it is a software problem than it needs to change

I know of people that had long standing back orders with them for 7.62x39 only to have them try to jack the price at the end

Never mind that these people had passed up other deals while waiting ...because they thought they had a contract

Fucking hell, 18.42/100 for fucking 9mm???? I remember when this was 9 bucks!!! Double price in just a few years... holy shit.
