Why don't we have a drool emoticon???

If I was cole I would have popped Marshall as soon as I saw he was aiming a weapon at one of my people.

It should have been known that Marshall was to be shot the second anything funny happened, followed by his favorite lackeys. Doc, you also tricked us, the previous post had me believing that the weapons were going to be left outside. Also, if the only friendly in that room was prone on the floor the problem could have been neutralized through the wall with two magazines.

We need to get Doc66 an official ZS authors emblem to go with his avatar.

This stuff rocks.

That was sweet. Marshall's wife sounds just like her husband. Overbearing and seeing their labor force dissapear. She's probably been living high on the hog while the "peseants" starve and freeze.

Food is the big problem at the moment... As they have been talking about, they've been steadily taking in survivors and now number (I'll have to double check) around 100 people. With the new additions, they are not going to make it through to spring. It was going to be close anyway.

Those pieces of info are exactly why I stated that they had the wrong guy in charge. The extra people would not have been invited by Kyle or Jesse, and then they wouldn't be in the situation that they are in.

But at this point they will HAVE to search out more food.

This all reminds me of some things that a co-worker of mine used to say.

He would refer to management and say that they are "fucking the cat" and we are "holding the tail".

It uhm seemed to put things in perspective when I started to second guess things that I had been told to do.

He would say " were just holding the tail"
Or if he was acting in charge and someone questioned him he would say, "I'm fuckin this cat, your just holding the tail".

Cole should have never been allowed to fuck that cat.

But, such is the nature of humans, to make mistakes and learn from the ones that don't kill us.

Yeah... If you remember, Jesse wanted Cole to spearhead this because he had the more likeable attitude.

Well, it's a story and we all have our crosses to bear. I'm sure that they'll find a way out of it some how.

Excellent stories, sir. :twisted:

I confess I hadn't known about them before today. They were so good I read them all today/tonight.

I just really hope the excellent quality of the writing keeps up and it doesn't become predictable.

Three things come to my mind that I'm hoping not to see (as they seem too predictable):

1. 'Bad guy despot camp leader' guy teams up w/ 'Rollin' 20s', goes back to AFB, rearms, besieges the Lodge.

2. Head bad guy gets killed, then BG's wife and wife of guy Jesse 'killed' in the first story somehow team up and start running/ruining the Lodge.

3. Owen's random plot twist death purely to remove his bad-assed-mofo gunslinging skill from the equation.

The story has been so outstanding so far I doubt that it will, but please don't let this become 'Lights Out' but with Zombies!!

Ok I have spent the last couple of days reading Hanna, Owen, and I have caught up to you now. There are a couple of things I need to say about them aside from the typos these are excellent stories, and I have enjoyed the emensly, and being new to "ZOMBIES" I even learned some things. I have one last thing to add then I will be done
