It would be one of the coolest shows ever on cable if they would do it like the Masters of Horror series on Showtime.

That would be pretty awesome. If a different director did each story it would really help add to the personal feel of each.

If they don't have that bit in there AND they don't have Henry Rollins playing the part, I'll be pissed. Even though I rag on the World War Z audiobook for being abridged, there's lots of good preformances in it. Hank voices the part of the merc, and does a damn good job at it. I actually thought he would've done better at voicing Tod Wainro (I forget the exact name, the US military trooper whose story they follow from Yonkers to Hero City) than Mark Hamill did.

I think ZS needs to write Brad Pitt and get some creative control over World War Z. I've seen lots of good ideas here, and I'd hate to see some dumbass screenwriter who hasn't even read the book fuck up the movie, like they did with "Starship Troopers". #&*%$*(@#*&%$*#($ director didn't even read the book.

I didn't care for the interview format. I read every review I could find online, so I went to Barnes and Noble and bought it. Honestly, when the kid behind the counter told me that it was "just as good as The Zombie Survival Guide", I should have put it back on the shelf.

Just because Max Brooks writes about zombies doesn't mean he should be fellated and his work should be considered "great".

On the other hand, making a movie of it could very well make the "interviewer" the main character.

I personally haven't found Max' stuff to be that great. He's amusing and talented, but not my taste really, and I also don't think Dan Brown could write his way out of a paper bag - but he writes about interesting things interestingly, and that's what got me to read him, anyway. And look how excited people got over his stuff.
