PIXAR's Brave

Well, not exactly a Zombie, but transformations take place.

PG rating was earned, some intense scenes may scare smaller children.

As with all PIXAR films, production values are at the usual gold + standard. Awesome, actually.

The story is both powerful and universal. No spoilers, just a note to say well worth the dough to go see and if you have littler ones (say, over 6 or 7, certainly will give some things - many things - to talk about...

Best family movie this summer yet - better than "Tangled".

(Edit to add - totally awesome soundtrack)

Hell, I'll go out to watch it even if my daughter doesn't want to see it. I've yet to see a Pixar movie I haven't enjoyed.

It was good. A little scary in parts. Amazing visuals compared to what most of us grew up with. Awesome music. In 3D, I really liked the preview for despicable me 2. Also really liked the little kids and the dad.

I took the daughter this past Friday and while we both enjoyed the movie, I thought it was a bit of a throw-away. Good story, good dialogue, great animation, but still... throw away dialogue. Nothing really memorable. Rather predictable in spots.

But fun none the less.

Saw it at the drive-in last night. Enjoyed. Pixar flicks always deliver.
