Why not get a bigger size shirt, or lose weight? I dunno, just a thought. Why would Blackhawk's polos be any differently sized then any others?

Maybe because they're tactical they form fit perfectly to your body and make you look like Muscle Man Randy Savage. 8-)
Does your BOB at least have: water, basic tools, fire, food, first-aid kit, and shelter?

I've got the Large in a few colors and they're currently my favorite polo shirt. I wish they didnt come with the mic loop on the center buttons though.

Blackhawk's WarriorWear polos are sized like everyone elses polo shirts.
If you're a disgusting fatbody you will need the XXL.

Fortunately, Blackhawk knows their target market, and makes such a size.

Well, the normal rules of synthetic fabrics apply: follow the care labels. I think mine all say 'cool dry only'

So you're choking and you don't even have the top button done? What are you wearing a kid's size? You know they have a Men's section at Kohls.

Wearing an XXL shirt is one thing. Wearing an XXL shirt AND GETTING CHOKED OUT BY IT EVEN WHEN THE BUTTON IS OPEN, is something else entirely.

If a mainstream clothing line chokes you without being fully buttoned, you need to move up a size, not try buying a more expensive tactical brand. There is not going to be that much difference in sizing between brands, not in standard cut polo shirts. Pants can be a bitch, but they (for men) are sized in inches, and are going to be within an inch or so of the posted size. Pants are a total bitch to size (hint: eat AFTER you try on pants, never before) but as far as letter-sized clothing, move up an X or lose weight.

Or ditch polos for some shirts that come with 3 measurements, sleeve, neck, and shoulder.
Opinions subject to change without in light of new information.

Maybe you should check out maternity clothing or something with a built in bra.

LAPG makes a knockoff of the Blackhawk polos. I did a review of them a few years ago and they are still in rotation - though 2 are living as extra shirts in my 2 BOBs. They also have them mic loops under the buttons (where I hang sunglasses when I'm not wearing them) and slightly useless pen pockets on the left sleeve. XXL fits me good, tight sleeves makes my guns look huge.

Duluth Trading Co.'s polos run a little bigger. Might give them a try.
