You must always be prepared. Tactical training with weapons such as blades, bullets, and MIND are key!

Stupid and irresponsible shooting. 'Nuff said. To the rest of ZS, don't waste your time watching this BS.

Why waste your time with guns? Give me lightweight, steel bars for a weapon. Strong enough to crack a skull and light enough that it won't tire you out quickly. Crowbars work well as do aluminum bats.

Ha. Good one.

I am going to move this to zombie combat tactics with the caveat not to waste your time watching the video.

Why. Why did I not notice your bright red warning before I wasted my time ... I half hoped there would be a good joke in there, or something ... I lost.

Hell if they're on private ground they are free to shoot however they please. I don't approve, and I hope to god there was nothing around them, but what they do and what they make a video of is their choice. There is obviously no actual education in the video so don't expect there to be any.

Really you have a point, I wouldn't call it irresponsible, cause that will get people to watch & see how bad they were... Fairly safe, as safe a IDPA anyway... But totally stupid & boring & pointless, really move on/don't waste time, I want mine back.

I'd call it irresponsible. I've been edjumicated to not shoot at water, due to increased risk of ricochets, and at the very least, an irresponsible use of ammo. How many takes did they have to do? How many shells were wasted that could have been mailed to me. :gonk:

I meant, unless you know for sure that they didnt check what was behind the water... if there is no dwellings for miles, its fine... If they didnt check, or worse, they know there are houses, you are right.

Seems like if we dont KNOW there are houses somewhere back there, we cant say for sure it is irresponsible... but if I had to guess... :?

I've heard the old saw about "never shoot at water," but shit, the Coast Guard does it all the time, both in training and in stopping small craft (drug boats mostly). What it comes down to is, "angle of incidence = angle of return." If your bullet goes down towards the water at 15 degrees, it's going to come up at 15 degrees, til it comes down again, and so on, skipping across the water like a stone...except that water is irregular, with waves and what all, so yeah, it can be a bit unpredictable. But generally, if you know what's on the far side of the body of water, I'm not that worried about it. If not, it's no different from not knowing what's on the far side of ANY target: dick move.

First (and so far only) post plugging a meh video: whatever. We're his target audience, it's expected. Didn't do much for me, but hey, maybe the next one will be better.

Oh, but fuck you for shooting turtles.

Steph and I saw an awesome turtle in the river today on our way to ZCON and...
