Even my wife got a kick out of that.

"Bare Minimum" would be a fixed blade and a bottle of water and even then you would pretty much be Fkt.

You have like 20lbs of ammo and... you know what nevermind... Anything I would say is already said here:

So, did your link to the Wal-mart thread run this guy off already or what? He deleted his posts it appears.

I don't want to scare anyone off, and Im not trying to be a dick. I honestly hope he learned something and actually reads it.

To be honest I get a little miffed when people think this site is nothing but a gun show.

When someone comes with 3 posts and says "Look at me guys, I got this! I am prepared!" and posts a pic of two guns and a bunch of tacticool crap for their dual glocks and 200 rounds of ammo... I wonder why they think you only need ammo? You cant eat ammo... well you can if that is your plan... but then you only need one round.

To me ZS is a lot more than weaponry, its about genuine smart preparedness and we seem to have a lot less 'nuts' than most sites on the same subject (preparedness).

The vast knowledge of the 'other preparedness' and 'first aid' forums here are amazing, as is the multiple 'common sense' posts. My advice to new guys here, is to read for a week before you post, make your first post an introduction and your second post 'contributing' something constructive.

Well said.

I wasn't trying to be a dick either. It sounded like he was asking about someone else and not his personal fun bag. Seriously though if he feels he needs that much crap to leave the house he really needs to rethink where he lives or what his threat level is. There were AR mags in the pic from what I recall. I would consider a rifle one of the last things I would need unless I were going to the range or hunting.
