Bushmaster DCM / Bushnell 6x24

Postby Toothpick Jim » Wed May 02, 2012 9:22 pm

Had a great day weather wise so I took the afternoon off to try out a new scope I recently bought.
This is my all purpose longer range zombie and coyote gun.
I bought the AR from the CMP a few years ago when they had them for sale.
The scope is a inexpensive Bushnell 6x24 mil dot that I seems pretty decent for the money.

I was shooting surplus green tips @ 100yds using the bi pod.

Below are some examples of what I shot today with my 55 yr old bifocaled eyeballs.

What is the best group size that I can expect using this surplus green tip ammo?

Nice shooting!

You grouping could be effected by a number of things and green tip isnt the most accurate round out there but in my opinion you are doing pretty well for that round.
