Right on. Keep me (us) posted. Also, I'm a lab tech. I don't know if the Red Cross/Memorial/ whoever this is going through will allow it, but I'm able to do the Venipuncture, processing of units, etc. At any rate, I'm in.

ETA: Count me in to donate as well.

How about just a meet and greet at a bar or something? Set a weekend date and a central location and see what happens

Just wanted to introduce myself here as well. I live in the twin cities area, not ideal I know. :( I have been prepping for about a year now. I am a Engineer and a part time martial arts/self defense instructor. I also went to school for gunsmithing and would love to open my own shop at some time in the future. Look forward learning with everyone on the forum!

Hello there, I'm a newbie in St.Paul. My husband and I are just starting to move from discussing our SHTF plans to actually gathering supplies and preparing for action. I used to be damn good with a rifle, but haven't shot for years. it would be great to get in some shooting practice and meet with some other folks who are preparing. i'd like to be in the loop if there is another meetup soon.

Just checking in to let everyone here know that I have not been devoured by a hodre of Zombies or anything. Been very busy at work and in my private life and hardly have any funtime any more. Still plan on becoming an official member and getting this MN Chapter up and running to our full capacity.

My good friend just purchased a Anderson M-4 "Zombie" model. Took some cool pics. I'll try and post them here when I get a chance.

Is anyone out there still interested in getting a chapter going? Maybe a meeting within the next month or so?

We have some interested in starting a chapter but I don't any of us are really ready to dedicate any real time to it. I know I am not. What we need is someone who is willing to take over the leadership. I would love to do it but I am just not able to dedicate that much of myself to it.

Ahhh...
I's like to say I could put in that time, but with my goofy / inconsistent work schedule, being top dog isn't something I could realistically commit to.

Maybe what we need is another meet, try to get some of the folks that didn't make it to Panera. See what's up, get an idea of the commitment involved, etc...

The things holding me back from being more involved are my goofy work schedule (nights) and mainly the fact that getting to a meeting is tricky for me if we keep doing them in the burbs cause I live in MPLS and ride a bike everywhere .

Umm I didn't find a meeting room for Wisconsin, but I'm from Superior and I'm starting a new chapter soon. Superior is about 2 hours away it's like right on the tip of Lake Superior, right next to Duluth, so if you're interested reply and that'll be great

Hey fellas,

Back from Armyland.
Any more panera trips in the future?

I'd be more then happy to help any way I can. I have a bit of freetime now that I'm off active duty again.

Let me know.

Hey MN gang! I know most of you are in the cities but are any of you from up North? I'm in Walker and would love to volunteer/participate/meet-up with other members.

From what I understand, there was a meeting in January or February. I couldn't make it.
As long as I'm off work, I'm down for August.

Speaking of PSK31, I got my Tech ticket back in April (?) Haven't figure out a radio yet, and really have no experience with ham. Maybe I could talk you gents into passing on some wisdom at the next meet-up?

August should be GTG. My sister's birthday is the first weekend, but I'm not sure if any festivities are planned. Work schedule's not out for the last weekend yet. Maybe the 1th would work for most/all?
