I paid my $60 for the game, they'll get no more from me, no matter the ending. But I do agree to ya'lls points. It sucks that EA is forcing this on folks. I think they will rue this decision in the long run.

I was prepared to deal with the high price and day one DLC but the forced pay to win multiplayer is too much. Also ME3 AZ hate party at Grifters this weekend! Yar!

Downloaded the free demo of I Am Alive on 360Arcade . It is pretty cool . Will probably grab the full game soon .

Yeah. EA's going to learn a lesson. I'm holding my breath.

Actually I think a hint of change might be in the air. Both EA and Blizzard/Activision have been making some...interesting choices recently. Time will tell if the come back to bite them in the ass.

I haven't managed much time on ME3. World of Tanks on the PC is getting all my attention. It brings out my inner armor and WWII geek and lets it shine

Silent hill: Downpour has a much more zombie feel to it than any other previous game.

Interesting aspects of the game -
Weapon durability - weapons break based on their physical components:
Glass bottles/crap items break instantly - great to toss.
Wood breaks fast
Steel takes a while - by that I mean I've never broken a crowbar though I hear it can happen.

Weapon types.. good god. EVERYTHING is a weapon. Rocks. Bricks. Boards. Fishing spears. Frying pans. Bottles. Baseball bats. Golf clubs. Hatchets. Axes. Wrenches. Crowbars. Pickaxes. More axes. Whachoo you know about axes? Long straight pipe. Bent Pipe. Small hammers. Large sledges. Shovels. CHAIRS. Candlesticks. Lamps. I mean.. it's every single room you go into there's 2-3 melee weapons just waiting to be used. Some are multi purpose - axes chop wood barriers, steel blunt objects break locks/smash things, the fish hook can pull down ladders, chairs are great for hitting 2-3 people at once, etc. etc. It's a neat system.

Weapon amounts: you can carry two - basically 1 melee 1 ranged. Ammo is tight. They modeled it after 'the road' - and it shows if you play on hard. REALLY shows. Ammo is incredibly difficult to come by if you're using the pistol with any sort of regularity. Not that it's necessary. I found melee supremely easy.

Dynamic weather affects enemy propogation - i.e. the more it rains, the more enemies come after you. You can break into abandoned houses (some of them) and hole up to avoid the enemies and the weather.

Enemies are very zombie esque. My favorite is the shirtless redneck lookin one. There's a female screamer/flailer type, and a bat demon that are pretty common - fights like the tyrant from the old RE games.

Combat system: Pretty easy. Controls gave me nothing to complain about, shockingly. It's pretty basic stuff without the normally kludgy silent hill 'fighting' system. You can still charge up slightly for a power attack if you want or just combo the hell out of things. Combat is simple enough but fluid - not a 'stand there, take a hit, retaliate, rinse, use healthkit, repeat'. Enemies are random. Done in a way that's interesting and not obnoxious.

*EDIT - Side note: my last SH game was the one before the WII game with the combat system from hell. (SH: Homecoming) and this was VASTLY improved over that one's.

Environment - open world. Fairly linear, but not so linear that you're playing on rails. It rewards exploration with secrets and side quests, which are a new thing. There are lots of very well done 'dynamic tension' things that actually really hit on many different levels of fear for people. It's a pretty coordinated shotgun approach that also is paced in a way to get you to be hit when you're just letting your guard down.

All in all - the best SH game in a long, long, LONG time.

It not really pay to play but play to win. In retrospect it looks like we made the right call to not buy this game. In addition to all the other crap the ending is apparently somewhere between unfulfilling and terrible.

One of my roommates scored a Diablo III beta key;

I'm not a fan of online only play, but in the 2 hours I got to play it seemed entertaining enough.
I was disconnected from the server twice in that time span though so... :(

FYI - it's not as entertaining as I would have hoped from all the fanboys hype though. I played D1 and D2 on the Bnet ladder enough to get sick of them, and while it's different it's not that different (may be a good or bad thing, depending on your taste).

Assassin's Creed Revelations.

I played the first two. So far, it looks like it is just a repetition of those two I know of (skipped Brotherhood). We'll see.

I had a very hard time playing those games. Soooo repetitive. Assassinate, don't get caught, assassinate.

Switching between Final Fantasy XIII-2, and Dragon Age II.... enjoying both, XIII-2 is better that XIII

II is my first experience with the Dragon Age franchise.... family bought it for my birthday, and have been thinking about picking up Origins....it any good? Feel like Dragon Age II could have been a top-shelf game if they would have taken a little more time with it

I'm hoping 1.2 brings me back, I don't really enjoy PvP very much (I play shooters for that) so the end game content is really, really limited.

Bah, I love pvp! But then I don't play many shooters. They've got a new warzone and a shit ton of "legacy" perks.

Played secret world on the bata for the weekend past there, It was simular to other MMO's out there, played the templar's role as I believe was the only choice. any way the first mission was Zed's in the good ole USA. Now I did find there research lacking as liting Zed's on fire and jumping on cars with alarms not very good realism of actual perfered choices
Had to lit up 10 Zed's to go to the next misssion lol, surprised they never had a wal-mart senerio. It was a fail set up of a small town to hold back Zeds.Good to learn from others mistakes in video's before the actual event occurs:)

They need to make a Brothers in Arms: Ardennes version.

Theyve got D-Day covered with Earned in Blood and Road to Hill 30

Plus they have Operation Market Garden covered with Hells Highway
