My SHTF knife busse -pic heavy-

Postby Moonberrys » Fri Apr 06, 2012 5:43 pm

This knife is amazing. I couldn't imagine a scenario that would even come close to damaging this beast. This was my grail for the longest time and I finally got it! This thing is perfect! Heres some pics if you have any questions feel free to ask!

Badass appeal is definitely there.

Weight?
Length?
What kind of metal?
Have you sharpened it?

How does it actually cut, being so thick at the spine and all?

I was cutting phone book paper like it was my para 2. It pops arm hair off no problem. It chops excellent and batons like your using a wedge so it splits great. I have a much smaller fixed blade for the finer work. It's cuts pretty great!

Yeah, it came with that sheath from the guy I got it from, however busses do not come with a sheath from factory. The s5le is a great knife man!

Be careful! Its an annoying little itch, but after you scratch it once all hell breaks loose and next thing you know your broke but have enough busses to survive 6 catastrophic events lol.

You guys have some nice Busse's!
I just received a NMSFNO on Saturday. Already trying to decide which one I should get next. The thinner and smaller Magnum Bear Cub that's gonna be a special offering tonight would making a nice companion to a larger blade. Might have to see if I can grab one.

Someone should start a Busse and Bussekin blades thread. Months ago, had never heard of Busse. I think it could be very informative to those of us looking for a true hard-use knife.
