I'm not seeing any sale prices. E.G. Leatherman New Wave MT: $79.95 at Botach. Sells for $60.19 shipped on Amazon.

Is there some kind of coupon code you're not telling us about? Oh, I get it. 50% off with the APRLFLS4112 coupon code, today only.

Haha. :?

buyer beware on these boots based on negative Amazon reviews (seems to be known quality control issues):

2 Person parachute silk hammock.

I haven't priced hammocks lately but it seems like a pretty good deal, especially for one that will hold even a big guy like me.

I paid about $65 (+tax) a few years back for mine (looks like the same brand). This is the one I bought, and the company I bought it through. My ex and I used it together once (and it wasn't what ended the relationship), I slept well, but it was her first time in back country, so she managed okay. Hammocking alone is much easier/comfortable/easier to get comfortable, it's hard to lay diagonally with two people to flatten the hammock out.

I say go for it, for $43, you're not much worse off than a standard hammock. If you're a bigger person you can take comfort in the added strength, or if you think your relationship can survive a night hanging in the trees, it might be for you.

Victorinox Swiss Army Champion Plus Pocket Knife $29.99 delivered with FSSS

http://www.amazon.com/Victorinox-Swiss-Champion-Pocket-Knife/dp/B0009KF4GG/ref=sr_1_1?t=slickdeals&tag=slickdeals&s=sporting-goods&ie=UTF8&qid=1333425235&sr=1-1

The original pocket super tool.

The $100 list price is fiction, but a typical everyday price for this would be around $60. This sale price is less than what a Victorinox Huntsman is currently going for on Amazon. No it doesn't have pliers, but if you've never had one (or have owned the inferior Wenger versions), these Victorinox knives are a marvel of engineering. And still the best pair of scissors I've ever encountered on a mini tool.

Besides, what Leatherman/Gerber/SOG comes with a toothpick, tweezers and a magnifying glass?

free food-grade buckets on long island, ny...

I don't have time to drive out there, but someone might. Look to be a good size for container garden planters too.

Please stop posting craigslist items. Perhaps you can post those in the chapter forum closest to the ad location instead. Let's stick to deals all of us can take advantage of.

It seems like 5.11 is getting rid of their OD Green pouches. The h20 carrier is normally $25 on their store, the OD green one is $10. this also applies to a lot of their other pouches.

http://www.511tactical.com/All-Products/Bags-Backpacks/Pouches/H2O-Carrier.html

Their med pouch as well:
