I'm looking for a cheap sedan, decent gas mileage and a price tag under $2 -$2.5 k. My Jeep is chugging way too much gas and I do not want to grind myself into an auto loan since I am also studying purchasing my first home.
Anyone know where I should look beyond craigslist and such?

What part of east Texas? and heck yeah, I am still looking, mostly junk being sold over priced. One guy wanted $3000 for a 2002 Neon with a welded over drive shaft
