Hello from North GA

Is anyone from Atlanta or North of ATL?
I have been on and off the forum for a few years. Now that my job doesn't keep me traveling all the time I'm ready to do some camping. If anyone if interested in putting something together let me know.

Welcome Captain!

We will definitely have meetings and events coming up soon and look forward to meeting you. If you are free tonight, we are having a very, very big event at Diesel Filling Station in Virginia Highlands Atlanta with a canned food drive to benefit Atlanta Community Food Bank and a silent auction to help with medical bills of a member Annie Tee. Plus rumor has it that T-Dog of TWD will be there. Things kick off at 7 but if you want to go I recommend getting there early because parking is limited and according to just the Facebook event page alone about 100 people have confirmed they're going.

But if you can't make that, we will certainly have more things going on. Hopefully will have a meeting in the next few weeks when the dust settles from our chapter re-org.

The wife and I have a homestead of 18 acres in Pickens County. If anyone is interested in camping, these are fine Appalachian foothills, and we would welcome you. We shoot on our property all the time, and would allow others to shoot here as well, with a little common sense and a safety briefing. We're about 15 minutes outside of Fairmount Georgia, just a few miles off HWY411.
