Do we have an official chapter logo pic?

i would like to update my sig picture with a pic of the ZSC016 logo. can anyone post up our logos, so i can work one out? or should i just go ahead and make my own? if we dont have a logo yet i was going to work with this right here, since we are the state of the walking dead:

We do not have an official official logo, though if you look at Davo's signature, he has a couple of banners that work well.

You are free to put any logo/banner into your signature that you'd like but as far as an "official" banner goes for the chapter, we actually should work on that since it does have the ZS name on it, which does follow certain requirements...I think.

I was actually trying to design one last night, if any one has any designs or ideas let me know maybe we can get a bunch of ideas together and vote on them? I'll probably play with it for a while but in the meantime throw some ideas around!!!

Great idea Trekker!

So anyone out there who wants to design a local logo, feel free to do so and then submit it here. We can then put it up for a vote and send the winner to HQ for approval. Also, when designing, one thing to keep in mind is that though we are still 016, because of some changes in chapter naming policies from HQ we will be needing to change the name from "Georgia" to something more specific. We're not sure what that will be yet so for now when designing the logo, you may want to leave the Georgia part out altogether (or save your file so that you can add the location later if you want).

I can't wait to see what y'all come up with!

Well, if there is enough activity, I'm sure Georgia can support multiple chapters; for now, though, most participants seem to be not more than an hour OTP.

ZombieSoldier, we chose Metro Atlanta for the chapter name strategically to try to include as many people as possible. The area that is covered in Metro Atlanta is vast and includes Atlanta, Marietta, Alpharetta, Newnan, and I think even Hall County, and many, many more cities and counties. With that in mind, since the chapter can branch out to a 2 hour radius, we were hoping that that helps us extend 2 hours from the furthest parts of "Metro Atlanta" to cover as many areas as possible.

We also realize that some people will still not be within a 2 hour radius of the furthest point of Metro Atlanta and that there aren't enough members (yet) in those areas not covered to create a separate chapter. We absolutely welcome all of the Georgia members into this chapter and don't want to lose anyone! We also plan to schedule events that stretch all over Georgia, not just the metro area, to try to allow for more members to participate without having to trek out to Atlanta. Also, if our recruitment efforts work, we will hopefully have more folks from your region and maybe some day you can form yet another Georgia chapter.

I want you to feel included!

My sig has one of the logo's. I don't know about officialness, but it's there. Somewhere in our chapter posts is a few options that one of the guys drew up.

Yeah, I've seen a lot of the other banners. We are looking for a new one that reflects the new chapter name (it's no longer Georgia, but Metro Atlanta) and before we can use it even on the forums we have to get it approved by HQ.

Of course folks can continue to use the older banners if they want but as far as our "official" one, we're going for something newer so we're having the banner logo contest.
