"Walking Dead" New Cable Series

I guess that says something about how I feel about Shane. I just woke up and I swear where you wrote coldcocking I read cockpunching.

Might it have been advisable to say something like "don't click this link unless you want a major spoiler" or something...?

So Shane dies in the last episode, and Michonne shows up.... And season three's first casting has been for the Governor...

But wait... There's still the speculation on how, why, and who.....

My vote is still for Carl to pull the trigger....

On a related note... I would love to see someone edit down all the dialogue that T-Dog says in the entire series up to date, I betcha they could still keep the video under Youtube's 15 minute limit...

Aside; As the Hershels farm episodes pretty much dominated the entire second season, I guess all of season 3 will take place in a prison, with a few episodes in Woodbury... A part of me likes the slow methodical way that they explore these parts of the GN, but another part of me wishes, they'd get their asses back on the road...

Yeah, I have to agree, posting spoilers to this thread is getting really annoying. :x :? :x

I mean, it seems like some of you really delve deeply into this, researching the minutia of the series in between each week's episodes and getting a ton of intel on plot developments and casting changes.

Some of us actually enjoy the story unfolding by watching the program itself. I mean, I figure certain characters probably aren't going to be around much longer, but seeing how the TV show has already deviated from the GN, at least there's some suspense. Until someone posts a flat out spoiler on this thread, that is.

And no, I don't think the solution is for poor saps like me to just avoid this thread. I enjoy discussing the episodes with all of you and there should be a way of doing that where people who are in the know who just can't contain themselves could at least give fair warning by posting a link to some revealing nugget of information, rather than just blurting out the information itself.

Sorry boys, I'm not taking any shit for posting something that was on the front page of a major news network.

In fact, the whole story was about how it was leaked to the public, if you haven't seen it yet, you would have. (unless you don't read the news from major news networks I suppose)

I have never read the comic books, but from this thread I know all sorts of things, like the 'governor' and there going to a prison.

So suck it up, shake it off, and just watch the damn show.

NYTimes.com is my home page and I check CNN.com daily. You ruined it for me, Paladin1. Also, some people still prefer to get their news by reading the paper or listening to the radio. You almost imply that's somehow a crime.

I have to ask you, a few people now have asked that folks participating in this thread stop directly posting spoilers so they can enjoy the story as it is intended to be presented to the TV viewer. Yet you almost sound like you intend to continue doing so, at least whenever you deem it information we ought to have discovered on our own anyways. Or if not, that we somehow deserve the consequences of our own web-surfing ignorance.

Is that the gist of what you're saying?

I've been purposefully skipping over posts (or at least attempting to) as soon as I sense any kind of spoiler and I have not even been watching the upcoming episode trailers. I really shouldn't have clicked on that link. :? I only read the headline but...

You didn't have to click the link, he revealed the spoiler in the text of his post.

Saying that people are "whining" when a legitimate issue is being discussed is rather belittling, don't you think? I know what whining is. I have to deal with it every day atw work. I've yet to see any whining in this thread...

While it can be used in a belittling fashion, I used it in it primary definition. To whine is defined as
To utter a plaintive, high-pitched, protracted sound, as in pain, fear, supplication, or complaint.
. Once you made a point to ask for it to stop to keep repeating the complaint is just off topic. You can always ask a moderator if you feel the post is violation a board rule. Otherwise I think we can get back to the topic at hand and discuss TWD. If you feel I was personally rude please forgive me.

The two guards they perused did not have obvious bites but they didn't check them thoroughly. If the guards had bites under their clothing or if they drank from a bottle of soda that had been inadvertently infected they would show no marks, while still being infected.

The gist of what I'm saying is I was not posting a "spoiler"

The leak was to the public, it's still on the front page of MSN news.

I have never read the books, nor do I have any inside information. I have no spoilers to post!

I have also been mildly irritated when true spoilers are revealed, but it's a TV show, so in the grand scheme of things not that big a deal.

That's the "gist" of it.

Unless you just joined the thread, it has been talked about pages/days ago (spoiler alert!) that in the books Shane is killed off. And the discussion actually took that as a given, especially with his behavior. They have been setting up a showdown for some time now.

In fact, the debate was not IF he's killed off, but when and by whom.

So my contention is I did not post a spoiler due to the fact that is has been openly discussed before and has been posted to a major news outlet.

While I enjoy debating the characters, the merits of the show, writing, etc. This kind of arguing I don't enjoy, so I'm done with it. Hopefully those that were hurt by my insensitivity can pick up the pieces of their lives and move on. :D

Nope. I have seen the future, and that's not it. Here's how it goes down:

Andrea turns up pregnant from her sport fuck with Shane. Lori's baby turns out to be Shane's. Out of nowhere, Maggie and her sister end up pregnant. By Shane. In a united fit of jealousy and anger, the four redefine the phrase "gang-bang"...

Enough with the "spoiler" stuff. We got it. Plus, if you click the link now you get a 404.

I empathize that some of you get "spoilered", that'd make me mad too.

I empathize that a link was posted with said spoiler in it, and there were many "layers" to get through so as to avoid it.

It's all good. We're all breathing and not on Omaha Beach on a grey day in June. Are we all going to be OK now?
