My BIL mentioned that his 17-year-old son would probably like to go, but there is no fucking way I'm bringing that kid.

AT 17 he couldn't take the class anyway. He could watch, but not participate. Junior thinks that's stupid too, but liability is something we like to cut down on .

Fine. We'll go with that, because that's exactly what I said when I was searching for an excuse not to take a REDACTEDiveledgeREDACTEDeedREDACTEDuant that I wouldn't take to MilCopp were he 23.

Ehhh, you could bring him, tell his parents that just observing the class is $100, give that money to GD4, and let Chris* spend a couple hours straightening him out. Oh course, the rest of us might fall over laughing...

*I'd clear it with him first, I don't know if he wants to bring his job to MilCopp.

If GD4 wants to make $100 a head scaring youngsters for our amusement, I've got a 7y/o that needs it

Hell, I would probably pay him to yell at me so I could get a little amusement.
Thanks Anianna!

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

Yesterday I ordered a new rifle and did so mostly because of this class so you better move me to the definite status.

Just to double check, is this for Friday too, correct?

I'm working on a CQB/Simulant class for this summer and there will be a two day full blown kick in the ass, slap in the mouth carbine in the fall. Stay tuned. :D

Sorry for the thread derail but this is going to be a Milcopp, of course, but it's going to be indoors. Civilian tactics centered room clearing, flashlight use and low light engagments. This is a work in progress. I have a few locations but I'm working on the simulant for actual guns. Thinking 22 subsonics but those may hurt.

RG, Don & Dave should put you on the payroll if you can pull this off. That's a pile of training I want need.

Too bad I can't afford the divorce required to make that class.

But, hey, .22 subsonics, cans, and soft armor or plates should be safe enough for force on force, right?

Or should we bring kevlars (helmets) too?

Please just make it as late in the year as possible. I have a feeling that once I do one class......you know with the alumni it seems it's like Lay's potato chips, or strippers, or heroin.

There is one item on the "unofficial" gear list that has not yet been discussed.

Gentlemen, it's time to start growing your beard.

In the past, I have grown my beard out to the point where I could walk around the house for hours with a couple 5.56mm cartridges lodged in it. It got trimmed soon after that, but it was pretty epic.
