Talked to mom today and told her that up to 20 people with guns will be wrecking her bathroom at the summer house and camping on the lawn.

She said to make sure they wipe there feet.

There are two bathrooms, I don't think a trench shitter is going to be necessary.

Are we any closer to picking a weekend? Does May 12-13th work for people?

I still can't commit, so don't plan around me  If I can make it work, I will. Inshallah...

The date isn't so much a problem as the funds are to make the trip.

Those days area as good as any, but I'm like most at this point, can't commit yet. Braxton and others who have organized these in the past can testify that the 'attendee' list won't be finalized until a few weeks before the course, so picking the date ASAP is good. Guys/gals will work their schedules around the date.

This. I need a firm date. I vote later if this is going to happen though because I re-up my vacation right around then and I currently don't have enough vacation time to take the entire weekend off.
Thanks Anianna!

We need two things to set the date.

Doc and Dave to confirm that they are available.

GD4 to make sure that the range is a go.

Give them a few days. They are busy people.

I'm going to try and make this. I've asked for time off in May already and been granted it. I've got most everything I need for it already, and my wife says I can go. I just need to try and get a date, and then get someone to drive up there with me (or not, or whatever).

I imagine it'd be a 2-day trip.

Then you, my good sir, have already completed 99% of the prep needed for this class! :)

I'm going to do my level best to drag my bride (even if it's kicking and screaming) to this class. She frankly needs it as much (if not more) than I do.

Im going to shoot to get it the weekend of the 11-12, I will not have a class in cycle, I can pick a few people up at the airport in STL if need be and if you need to ship ammo when the time comes it wont raise any eyebrows here.

Also Vicious Lee, I can make it to DFW in 6-7 hours from here its not a bad drive at all.

The 5/11-12 date looks feasible here. Do we have a tuition + range fee estimate yet? Not taking things like hotel/carpool/etc. into account.

Anything but 19-20 May. I'm best man in a wedding on Friday the 18th, and thats going to be a rough goddamned saturday morning if I have to pull an all nighter and drive out after the reception.

Well, if we're gonna go all Guys & Dolls, I'll have to find babysitters for the weekend

I watched my ~95lbs old great-great-aunt literally drink my construction foreman 300+lbs uncle under the table... I mean he passed out under the table and she tossed a blanket over him before she went to bed herself

Just saying.

Now consider that Sarah is twice your size/weight, and "on vacation" from the 3 kids that drive her to drink...

Somebody bring a PBT so we can make sure she's sober by class time :gonk:
