If/when you get a chance, could you take some pics of the different emergency trauma bandages, side-by-side?
Even better would be a separate thread, with a nice write up of pros vs cons for each.

I'm certain I'm not the only one confused by all the shiny choices.
For now, I've got a couple of civvie-white izzies, and a couple of simple "blood stopper" packs.
My only suggestion is to add a hand flashlight, in addition to the headlamp.
Two reasons:
- redundancy

- as a calming prop for a bystander, particularly in the case of a family medical emergency
The worst family medical emergency I ever participated in, one family member was quite literally in shock. I found something
very useful yet
very simple for that person to do, which ended up calming
both of us.

I'll bet almost everyone here has had the childhood experience of holding a flashlight for a parent. It's simple enough for a child, and great for morale / family-bonding.
Good on you for prepping with your brother in mind.
