ZSARC President Nominees: NoAm Wins by a landslide

Postby 44Dave » Thu Dec 22, 2011 9:28 am

If we're going to get this going again, lets get our leadership position filled out so we have a central point of contact that everything can flow through. In another thread NoAm was nominated and I seconded but I'll try to make it more official like with this thread.
For President/Imperious Leader position: I nominate NoAm.
I hope she wants it :p Maybe she could also be the mod for this forum section?

By request, voting will close 12:00 AM Jan 1st UTC, so New Years Eve will be your last chance to register a vote in this highly scientific poll!

OK. I will update the first post if any more nominees present, but so far NoAm is in the lead.

I move that the voting process closes after 48 hours have elapsed from the time stamp on the first post (which will be on the 24th). Voting will close 12:00 AM Jan 1st. Yes that's a short time but this needs to get a move on and there hasn't been a whole lot of activity to suggest it will be a hotly contested race. If people don't like the outcome there will be an opportunity someday in the future to elect different officers.

I'll count NoAm as voting for herself

Thanks to everyone for the support!
I do have to ask though, are there any other members interested or additional nominees for this position?
With the Christmas holiday this weekend, do we want to keep this open a couple of more days? I am sure there are several members that are traveling or vacationing that aren't here to participate.
Just a thought

I'm flexible, but like I said I just don't see a whole lot of people beating down the door to get in. Besides, I'm assuming people will get another chance in 12 months, or less if the Imperious Leader decrees a shorter term. But we need to get the club moving so it can start to fullfill the requirements of being an official chapter (I assume that ZSARC will have to meet the requirements just like any other chapter before it can be official).

I would support a motion to keep the nominations open until Jan 1st

Off-topic but... Since UTC = Zulu time, and Zulu starts with "Z", I propose we call it "Zombie time" and make it the official time zone of the ZS-ARC for use in announcing nets, logs, etc.
