There are a few 'ballers here. myself included. I do enjoy a good bushwhack from time to time, but I also find merit in speedball as well. It forces you to think under pressure and can most certainly wear you the hell out.

Are you saying a Zombie Apocalypse Scenario Paintball? Because that would be pretty awesome, just hard to find volunteers to be the zombies 8-)

Tried to organize a chapter tourney but the concensus was that no one wanted to travel to a single location to prove their worth against other chapters.

It is kinda the shit. 100 vs. 100, 150 vs. 150, easy. I even got a picture in a national PB magazine for playing in one of their games.

We have done something like that once..... giveing a person 6, 12, and 30 rounds to make it more realistic, you could only reload the 6 or 12 with the same number....got pretty intense, headshots only, you were backing up a lot

I played airsoft two weeks ago, my legs were sore for about 5 days! In some ways it's a great training method for live combat, personal defense, zombies etc..
I do think there would be less darring assults with live ammo. It's as if everyone was in a hurry, compared to working out a better strategy.
I'd love to go up against some Zombie analogs, with paitball or airsoft weapons. Headshots only is great, more challenging, especially with limited ammo.

What about foam or padded impact or melee weapons? Did you use anything like that, or is that too risky for injuring your zombies?

No melee weapons but there WERE special characters your teams could "unlock". These guys had some pads and little (2" dia) white metal plates on their chest and back. Only a hit to one of these would take them out of play. The two opposing "heroes" actually met up on the field this game...it was pain.
