Just saw the program on history and immediately upon hearing about this site I had to come on and join. Coolest thing ever, as soon as I can afford it I'm gonna seriously consider becoming a full fledged member. :D

I forgot all about this thread, and saw the program...my wife was like "Hey, we need to look these guys up", and all I could say was, I'm a member of their forum...cool!

Now If I can just figure out how to get a chapter in WV.

Now that we have History Channel clout, I'm putting this shit on my resume. And I have an interview at FLETC in Glynnco GA next week. Could either put me in solid or get me banned from the facility.

I have never been so proud to be a member of ZS! I was watching the program just because it was zombie related. I got a good laugh out of corny Max Brooks. I enjoyed the "how to fight a zombie segments." I marveled at how many of those authors' books are in my zombie collection... and then I watched references to Zombie Squad and I thought to myself, "Holy Shit, could they mean ZS?" Then I saw ZS staff interviewed and footage from Zombie Con, and I realized: I am a small part of something special. That and zombies have totally gone mainstream. ZS's next T-shirt needs to say: "I was ready for zombies before being ready for zombies was cool."

Great job guys! Major milestone there and keep up the good work.

8-)
Regards,

Dan

Quite a few people in my AO watched the show, and I've had a number of people ask me about ZS after it aired. It looks like the forum got slammed (my Internet was very spotty last week) by curious folks. I took a peek at the ZS Facebook page, and it looks like it was slammed, too.

Also, I gotta say that the welcome for the new folks has been awesome! :D

Question: How did you guys at ZS:01 get the gig playing victims and perps for the local LEOs and first responders?

I got to see the last piece on the program dealing with ZS, I was impressed. But then again you guys have always impressed me, however I hold ya'll personally responsible for some of the nightmares I have of Gunny, Gundown and sheep from years past. Those images haunt me no matter how much tequila I swill.

I have to say that the History Channel segment on the zombie special is what lead me to join up. I am chapter 012, Colorado. I didn't even know that ZS existed before that, but let me tellya whut, I'm glad I saw it because now I can get involved in something I've always wanted to get involved in.

Thank you Zombie Squad! I will serve thee well!

I DVR'ed this and was just able to watch it last night. It was a bit different than I expected. Much of it seemed to consist of recycled footage from at least one of their (History's) apocalyptic "What-if" and/or "Mega-disaster" specials. I was distracted a bit by dinner at the beginning, and found myself wondering who some of these "experts" were. I was surprised and impressed to see official CDC participation. Overall, I liked it.
