I am actually huge into vehicle detailing and such. what did ya get? If only people realize how much money i have into car care in my garage, most people's eyes would pop out of their sockets...

Spent 2 hours this am hand washing the Jeep and it's cab cover as the sun came up. Found some chips in the paint in the driver's door sill and one just behind the driver's door and it made me grin - it's a Jeep, not a gorram parking lot princess. Later today I'll spend an hour or so making the inside look nice. Life is good.
My cleaning kit is some dash wipes, vent/dash brush, washing solution (orange... mmm...), window wipes, window cleaner, paper towels, Rain-X, and a garden hose with a cheap nozzle. Next week I'm adding tire cleaner (No Touch) and a lawn sprinkler that I can park Dusty over when I've been in the mud. It's not great, but it is better than a poke in the eye with a stick and it's an affordable solution.
I swear by Rain-X. It even makes it easier to wash off the bugs. Clean the glass, apply, then hose off and you're good until the next tank of gas, maybe more.
You might notice there's no car wax. With taking it into the dirt and mud I kinda don't see the point, but feel free to correct me if I'm wrong on that.
Must replace floor mats.

Not a problem. I hit a nice hole near the traintracks last night. So, I wanted to check my tires to see if it was okay. I usually dont check it often, but it never hurts.Tater Raider wrote:w3rdtoyamama wrote:Just washed the truck. Checking air in tires.
Thanks for the reminder on the tires.

Actual cost by cutting two holes: $0

I havent driven since I hit it. From when I hit it to my house (roughly 2 miles or so), I didnt feel anything out of the ordinary. I can usually tell if something is wrong by the way it drives. I'll keep an eye on it for the next couple days and see if I notice anything. I'll be driving longer distances the next two weekends, so the last thing I need is a flat tire.greggk wrote:any vibration or pulling since you hit the curb?
