I really like the Woosatch, just wondering though- does it get in the way of your belt setup? I plan on running my belt/Camelbak (using the Camelbak as the suspenders) and wear that OVER the plate carrier. think that would work out okay?

Kinda doubt it. I'd suggest keeping the camelbak and belt separate and you should be good to go.

Indeed it is. Incidentally, when I get back in the US in a month or so, I'll be selling quite a bit of gear, so be sure to keep an eye on the Trading Post. ;)

I can vouch for dragability of the DBT gear. In fact I was just drug across the floor by the drag strap of a predator PC(Sunday get together goofing off of the guys). I weigh in at 175lbs

For what it's worth, I bought a BLACKHAWK! Plate Carrier, one of only 3 pieces of their gear I own, the other is 2 identical pouches. I am not really a fan of their stuff in general, but got an outstanding deal on it. It's ok for what I paid (about $30) and not bad for maybe $50, but I wouldn't pay much more than that.

The drag handle is pretty strong, and I feel it would support my ample weight.

FWIW, I have a 50" chest, and I'm far too close to that in the middle too.

I can't imagine the size of the guy that would need all the adjustment that is available in this thing (at least 15" above where I use it...). Lets just say that the size Large plates that fit in the thing wouldn't be covering much.

I would much rather have the Eagle version of a basic plate carrier than any other, but seeing Force Recon Marines wearing them around with the MEU-SOC pistols in the front pocket may be influencing my opinion of that... but at least I'm honest about it :D

Very well, the slightly used camo pink bra and panties set is yours.

At least wait till I get back. I am looking to start the great cleansing in July as this IS my last down range assignment. I have literally bags and bags of crap collected over the last 25 years.

What's a good source for Tactical Tailor MAV?
I am trying to assemble a descent rig for a least amount of money.

SKDTactical sells Tactical Tailor now, they're great to order from. Never dealt with their customer service, because they've never fucked up an order.

I echo TDW586, SKD is the bomb... never mess up an order and cheap if not free shipping(see the 'suckit' coupon code)

I got mine direct from TT. When they sent a wrong piece, they let me keep it and overnighted the correct one.

Does anyone run single-stack .45 ACP magazines in a Tactical Tailor Magna-Mag? If so, does it retain the magazines without the flaps?

Doesn't really matter since I already ordered a FirstSpear Speed Reload Triple pouch, but I like the concept of the Magna-Mag.

Both SKD & TT are first-rate companies, from the several times I've dealt with them.

That being said, IMO the better deal is Eagle's line of chest rigs that SKD carries. Awesome gear, with mag pouches where they need to be, and room for more gear, too.

If I may hijack for a moment.

I've been reading through here getting ideas for my future Mole/Alice/Belt purchase, and I've learned a lot. I think I'm coming pretty close to determination for real world scenarios, but I'm interested in a paintball rig. If you get a chance and don't mind helping a noob please check out http://zombiehunters.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=83458&p=1849607#p1849607

Sorry to hijack, but with all the subject matter experts here, it was just too hard to pass up.

I love the quality of it, but that is where it ends.
I went to the range with it. I could not stand it. I hate the point that whatever I do, it still sticks out. I hate how high it rides. It's uncomfortable. I tried to sling it across, but it looked and felt stupid IMO. I think I am done with it. I'll ebay it I guess. Maybe an airsofter will pick it up.

So, on the previous page I was griping about the few options for us gals. For the Zombie Fry (never was there a more aptly named event), I just ran a pistol belt with a 3-mag pouch. Since then, I sucked it up and aquired Hachiman's TT Mav2 and x-harness plus a few other bits and pieces. They seem to be popular and fairly versatile. We'll see how it works for me when I get it set up.
