Just curious, but did yo use any other hardwear for the bracelet? The reason I ask is I've thought the samething for my daughter, but wasn't sure of how safe it would be with a clasp. I'd planned on a knot and loop closure versus a clasp, button, etc.
You can use a knot/loop, button/loop, bead/loop, coin/loop, fixed loop, side release buckle, shackle, etc... There are some small 'break-away'
side release buckles that are made for cat collars, and will pull apart with some pressure, for the safety conscious with making paracord bracelets for small children...
This is a somewhat simple(or not) adjustable/extendable paracord wrist lanyard. At first, it looks like a couple of two strand lanyard knots finished with a scaffold knot/multiple overhand sliding knot, but instead are a couple of Celtic Button Knots with the adjustable loop cord going through the center of them, so the knots are tied in place along a single length of paracord, on opposite sides of the loop, hard to explain, but it works...
