I just wanted to update the post that I now have two new colors in add to my list. Plus I am close to having my website up and running, so that I can still offer decent prices, I want to move some stuff off ebay.
Dark Grey and a variation of green that I have been calling sewer green.

Business has been very steady, and I have been working to improve my sewing skills by sewing some new stuff, this is a chest rig I had been working on and now I have actually been testing it. The mag pouches are military surplus
I plan on making these in sizes so the owner can get the fit they desire, there are too many variables for a one size fits most. I expect to get closer to production quality on these after the next version. I am changing the shoulder straps a little plus some other changes.

I recently started an order for single point gun slings for one of our local SWAT teams, I will have some left over materials so I plan on selling them here, as their is way too much junk on ebay. These have multiple buckles so you can either drop the weapon away from you or drop the whole sling away from you depending on your needs. Plus I can do the different attachment buckle of your choice. There is also a D ring on the sling for attaching a mag tether, incase you are shooting from a location where you dont want to drop your mags, like aircraft or a snipers hide.

For quite some time I have been doing several variations of the MOLLE shears holders but I always came back to medics in the military dummy cording stuff so I came up with this idea, it is a MOLLE shears shingle so it can sqeeze behind another pouch to save room on your chest rig or plate carrier but has a built in dummy cord ring. Not a huge market but trying to get a new product out there.
This one here is ranger green and the Pcord is foliage green.

Image

I have added several new colors to the cobra and rigger belt line up

Dark Grey with a Foliage Green cobra buckle
Image
Image

Coyote brown with a Foliage Green cobra buckle
Image

Foliage Green with a Black Buckle

I hope to get some prices out there on this stuff so anyone that is interested just PM or email me. The prices for the cobra belts are the same as usualy. I hope to be getting some ranger green webbing in over the next week or atleast something pretty close to it.

thank you

Postby chute43 » Tue Jun 22, 2010 11:50 pm

I did forget I have built a couple of these lately , it is a 2 inch wide coyote brown duty belt. These are loop velcro lined so it will mate up with a hook covered trouser belt. They are double adjust and the adjustment is on the inside so it looks a little cleaner than some of the others. So I can build these either as a single belt meaning the 2" belt only or as a belt system which is the 2" outer belt and a 1.5" inner belt. The 1.5 inner belt is matching color and covered in matching color hook velcro. The closure on the 1.5 belt is velcro as well, and try and build it so you have a 6" overlap of velcro.

The outer belt is constructed of 2 layers of 2" SCUBA webbing and a middle layer to add a little stiffness sewn together with #69 thread.
The inner belt is constructed of 2 layers of 1.5" mil spec 17337 webbing sewn together with #69 thead

The outer belt alone is $25.00 and the inner belt is $15.00. And buyer pays real deal shipping or real close to it.

Image

I can also do these in black and in foliage green. This is my personal belt so the holster/mag pouchs and dump pouch aren't included.

Got mine yesterday. Best belt I ever bought, and in no way do I feel like I overpaid. I'm recommending it to everyone.

I received mine a few weeks ago.

That would have been me. I always think when I buy things "Could I use this as a weapon?".

Anyways, got mine in March, and have worn it most days, including sliding down rocks on my belly, crawling through dirt, among other things. The only damage is a slight scratch on the ring from a beer bottle cap because I lacked a bottle opener. I love it. What I really love the most is, unlike other belt buckles it doesn't snag my belly hair when I sit down and stand up. :D

Yeah those cobra buckles are surprisingly unobtrusive! I was expecting it to tear out clumps of hair like a flea-infested coyote, and jab me somewhere awful everytime I shifted, but it's far more comfortable than my big old leather belt, and my holster adapts to its shape, not the other way around. This belt could probably tow my truck. 8)

*ETA: I'm not suggesting anyone do that, and yes I'm exaggerating a bit, but I want to emphasize that I've never felt I overpaid for the product I received, and without hyperbole, I expect it to far exceed the 8 year lifespan of my last heavy belt, which was the aforementioned leather one.

Had mine for about a month now. I got the big bad double layered version, took a day or three to get used to the width and stiffness of it. But I love it! Took a good wash across the deck the other day and yesterday I got sprayed with diesel fuel, so she is all crusted up with salt and smells like diesel right now. This is a top notch tough ass belt. I work the north Atlantic half the year and pulp wood the other half, I recommend his belts to anyone who wants equipment that they never have to think about. Also, I got one of the nifty single point slings, I haven't had time to test it, but upon inspection it looks pretty bad assed in it's own rite.
Upon reading one of my posts you should assume that before I post I reread my posts twice and then often again after I post to check and recheck for spelling and grammatical errors. And I still miss most of them because, as it turns out, when you are home-schooled, you are only as smart as your mom.

Coming Soon

I had a customer recently contact me, about building him a 1.5 belt using a 1.5 cobra buckle, which is something in the past I had stayed away from because of the lack of high quality webbing in a 1.5 on the market.

This is mainly serve the purpose of a CCW belt as these are fairly stiff, but still flexible enough to provide some flex when bending from side to side. Color will be limited as this webbing is only available in black.

I don't have a price on these yet but I expect them to come in between 50 and 60, I have to purchase these from a different vendor than I normally use.

If you can build one with the stiffer webbing minus the cobra buckle, it would be best for me. I don't always use a paddle holster, and the cobra buckle would get in the way of putting on and taking off a standard belt holster, unless you took it off each time, which means not only unbuckling your belt, but also disassembling the cobra buckle too.

Hrmmm.

You can leave it buckled and just pull the velcro tab end of the belt through the male end of the buckle. Then it's removable, etc and still in one piece.

To reply a little late to this one but yes you have to remove the buckle from the webbing to feed it through your pants. The way I have found it works best is to just leave the buckle together and unthread it so it is just like wearing a normal riggers belt then but during the day you only have click it to go to the bathroom.
