Chapter FAQ ver. 1

Postby Jephrey » Tue Dec 08, 2009 1:46 pm

This Frequently Asked Questions should answer most questions you may have. As I get new questions I will add them to this list. It should help reduce the one off PM's to make our process smoother.

This is NOT to say we don't want to hear from you. If you would like to talk to any of us on a more personal level (not that personal though!), feel free to send any of us a PM.

Frequently Asked Questions:

    1. How do I get access to post in this group (forum board)?

    Read this thread.

    2. Who's in charge here?

    Jephrey: President
    DamageG.A.Z.E.: Vice President
    Erisire: Financial Officer

We have a full org chart of all our other positions and members. As a collective, we decided to implement a loose military structure to better manage the areas of our state. Squad Leaders are in charge of groups in their respective areas. We also have specific positions such as event planners, forum scours, and the likes.

    3. Do I have to become a member of ZS to be a part of this chapter?

No. But we do encourage you to become a member so you have an official ZS ID for our events. We will have guest badges available for those that would like to see what our events are like or have a friend that would like to attend.

We also have a reservist program for members that are currently serving or have very busy schedules but would still like to help out when they have time.

    4. How do I become involved with this chapter outside of the forums?

Great question fellow hunters! All you need to do is let us know you're interested in physically lending a helping hand and we will get you plugged in. If there is a squad near your location we will have the Squad Leader contact you and get you up to speed. If there isn't anyone in your location we will contact you with options.

    5. Where are the open meetings held?

Right now our Chapter Hall is in Conyers. It's about 25 minutes south-east of Atlanta. We are aware of the size of the state and also know that Marion, Ga is the geographical center of Georgia (Did you?). We have the technology to broadcast our meetings if you are unable to make it.

We are also known to travel, in groups of course, to other locations of the state. I know, it's crazy, but we do. That way we can meet other ZS'rs and help sponsor events in the respective communities.

    6. What can I expect at an open meeting?

You will experience a plethora of things! Recognizing any new members or initiates prior to anything starting. We usually cover high priority topics that are covered in the officer's meeting at the beginning. We will have a 15 minute session/presentation on a topic conducive to our organization. Open floor for Squad Leaders time. I think you get the idea.

I have to leave something to your imagination so you show up!

    7. Do people really ask you these questions?

    Yes!

    8. How do I get in touch with anyone outside these forums?

All members (Green names) of ZS have a ZombieHunters.org e-mail. For example, mine is Jephrey@zombiehunters.org. You can use this method for any of the officers.

    9. Do you have any flyers or brochures that I could hand out to prospects or friends?

I am currently working on a lot of media that is ZSC:016 perspective. There are rules and processes that I have to abide by due to trademark laws. Once the proofs are approved by my officers I will send them to ZSHQ for approval. ZS currently has a brochure on the main website that you can download for now.

    10. What charities do/will you work with?

As with ZSHQ, we work with some larger organizations but we like to focus on local communities as much as we can. And I mean local. We currently work with small organizations in the towns/cities we live in. If you have one you'd like to work with in your town just let us know so we can get it signed off by ZSHQ.

I'll leave it at that for now. This should explain things for the most part. If you have any other questions though, send them to me and I will get you an answer.

Firstly, I think it is great that Georgia has a chapter. Congratulations on starting it.

Secondly, Which squad leaders are in control of which counties?

The way it's setup right now is regions. There are 12 regions in Georgia. We have two regions that have Squad Leaders at the moment, 2 & 3. Once the chapter gets larger, we may have to change the structure a little to accommodate larger regions with more members.

You can view the map of regions here:
