My very own half life crowbar

Postby olaf_yahoo » Fri Oct 07, 2005 5:34 pm

I was taking photos today and saw something interesting. I found that my 36'' looks exactly like the crowbar from half life, what do you think...?

It lacks the white paint, and the partially chipped off tip

How many crates/headcrabs has yours busted? Were I you, I would get some spare pallettes (preferably oaken) and remedy half of that equasion.

Smashing non-evil crustacians might be a little mean, though.

I guess using it to open lobster claws should be both delicious and morally acceptable, though.

Dude, that's an awesome looking crowbar. The rust really makes it neat. I don't know why, all of my stuff is brand spanking new and great and all, but that just looks so cool.

What I thought was cool (if you look closely) you can see the orange paint on mine is worn off the same way that the half life one is. Some crowbars are different, they aren't all alike. Yeah the rust gives it character, I've had that thing since I was very young and it's been through hell. The other two are relatively new so they have a long life of punishment to look forward to. If you want rust and character you should see my two pickaxes...

I'm thinking it would suck if you died (and you can die right) of tetnus you got from your own rusty crowbar. I mean come you just got done busting Zombie Melons and Head Crabs then you cut your self and get tetnus, I think that would just ruin my day.

It isn't actually rusty just weathered. There is no surface corrosion at all, I will take more photos for you later. Oh and there is no way in hell I'd sell it, my tools are very personal.

Wow, it is a bit creepy how similar your crowbar looks to the screenshot. They even look rusted in the same place.
