[V=Pi*r*r*L or 3.14*1"*1" *30"=94 cubic inches]
Makes it easier to carry a big knife.
Or does it have to be able to attach to a belt?

3. It will be assumed that you are wearing season appropriate clothing. It is not assumed that you have a water bottle, knife or any other tools or equipment.
5. Items that will not fit inside the pouch or container may be attached to loops, straps or other attachment points within reason. Example: a carabiner may be clipped to an outside MOLLE loop, but a second ammo pouch may not.

the_klenzer wrote:Suggestion to this rule that may make it more solid - individual items may be attached to the outside, but no other "container" type item to hold other items.
5. Items that will not fit inside the pouch or container may be attached to loops, straps or other attachment points within reason. The overall volume of exterior items may not exceed the volume of your PSK pouch or container. Example: A single flashlight too long for the pouch may be attached to the exterior, an AR-15 may not. Only individual items may be attached to the main kit exterior, no additional pouches, bags, boxes or containers will be allowed. Example: a carabiner may be clipped to an outside MOLLE loop, but a second ammo pouch may not.

Just wondering. I actually have a different pouch I'm going to attempt to build within. It has 96.25ci inner volume if my calculations are correct and I'm not going to attach exterior items to it. If it doesn't fit, I might find a different method.

That is absolutely fine, put it in the pouch.

There's a main pouch, a smaller front pouch, and some "sleeves" on the side. What really stinks is I ordered 3 of them!!! I mean, they're cool - so I'll take them. But now I have to order something else to use in the contest. Oh well. I guess I'll just suffer my wife's wrath for a couple days and get over it...
