ZS Photo Day

Postby DamageG.A.Z.E. » Tue Dec 22, 2009 11:08 am

I'm gauging interest about a possible ZS : 016 Photo Day. Jephrey and I had talked about this a few times beforeand seeing as I am a professional photographer and he is a photo enthusiast, I thought I'd see who's interested in possibly doing a photo hike or something similar.

My bad I accidently deleted DogBanes post...but...to answer his question about Atlanta's more slummy areas....Unfortunalty Atlanta is in a "rebuilding" era which makes that type of thing a rarity...I'm an automotive photog its hard to find that sort of awesomeness for my shoots, but I'm a ninja so I find them anyway...maybe one of these days when its a lil warmer and I've got my S & W on me I'll go out and find some decaying awesomness

I'm a simple man, so I've been shooting with a Kodak Z740 5mp digital, but I have a Canon 20D 10.2mp that I use for stuff the Kodak can't handle, though I'm still learning how to use it. I'm a recent convert to digital, having shot for years with a Minolta X-370 35mm film camera. I also go places where a big professional-looking camera would attract too much attention, so I like the low-profile Kodak.

I'm down for a shoot. We should map out where we want to shoot with beverage breaks in between. I'll bring the P80 and the FA. Got a roll I need to finish and a card I want to fill.

Plan it out DamageG.A.Z.E.!

Depending on when, I might be game. I've got a D50 and a K1000, though the d50 has spoiled me so I rarely break out the 35mm anymore.

Can't make the photo shoot but feel free to tear one of mine off at the Post Office and do a cut and paste job! LOL! OK if we can do this we should really be wearing the appropriate garb ya know!...or all get together and take one of those K-Mart family photos!

If I'm not working when y'all have it I'd like to go. I can bring my camera and get some shots that aren't of my dogs or cat.

I'd love to go, but my availability is based in two factors: school/theatre schedules and antamune's availability.

Nope, not for me. School and Theatre are a single entity. School just happens to be the vehicle by which I do my theatre work.
