Offical Meeting

Okay guys. Things have kind of slowed down a little bit, and I think it's time that we had a meeting. What do ya'll say?!

Guns & I have come up the Nov 21st. If the weather is going to be good we're going to be doing some cookout type stuff at a park near campus. This is going to be our first REAL effort to expand our numbers by having some flyers put up around town and on campus. We're also going to make it a Canned food drive (We'll cook, you bring cans!!)

So go ahead and give me some ideas/suggestions.

I was thinking Saturday the 21st at Wagner Park in Tech Terrace (26th and Elgin). It's a pretty central location and a nice little park with decent bathroom facilities.

Have we finalized the date/time/location for this yet? Is this going to count as our public meeting? Who is bringing the food?

I can bring the food but I don't think it has been advertised yet, so this weekend is a no-go. The next weekend is thanksgiving, so perhaps the first weekend of december? I'm not sure the cookout is going to draw an appreciable crowd if it is very cold. I know as the mercury drops my interest in cooking does also.

We really need to get organized and get a meeting going.

Well that sucks, I was going to bring Venison jerky for all . When you chapter officers decide when we are going to have a public meeting, let me know and I will try to make it.

Okay guys. I've finally finished remodeling my bedroom and have some breathing room. I know we're pretty close to christmas, so why not have a Christmas party? Any takers?

Instead of starting a new thread, I'll just use this one. We talked briefly about having an open meeting sometime in early/mid April. I'm free most Fridays or Saturdays that month. I would really like to have it in a public place like Caprock Cafe or someplace similar. I have a list of about 10 people that have left me some contact information that really might be interested in attending.

Any ideas on locations, times?

Please let me know when you guys are available so we can set this up.

OKay guys, since I'm not getting many response I'm going to go ahead and set up a meeting for Saturday April 17th @ 1`pm at Caprock Cafe on 82nd and slide in Lubbock Texas.

So far we're going to just be doing a meet and greet with some other people that have showed some interest in the chapter here in town. I'd like to see all of ya'll here if possible.
