I would have to say any kind of lancer would work, A nice automatic weapon, preferably a Deawoo USAS-12 automatic shotgun with a chainsaw beyonet, then as a nice side arm The Harvester machete from Zombietools

I'm going to update my choice now that we're going interstellar.

I chose: Anubis' Mothership from Stargate


It is capable of obliterating entire land masses from orbit. It is made even more powerful with the help of 6 "eyes" that each make the ship powerful, and when joined turn the ship into a huge super-weapon. The weapon requires cooling, and to do this a ventilation shaft is located on the ship. If the ventilation shaft is destroyed the weapon would also be destroyed.
The ship however has a another flaw, when in atmospheric flight the ship can only have a maximum of 40 percent shields making it a target for the enemy, however even at that it may take a huge fleet to defeat.

One of these would be pretty cool, but I have a problem with being claustrophobic... So in reality, this guy would give me the LEG room I would really want.



But then again, when it all boils down to it, the mind is the best weapon to have.

If I had a consistent supply of ammo for it, I would probably choose the Plasma Cutter from Dead Space:


It has a variety of uses including cutting off zombie limbs to either decapitate it or render it immobile. With great range, you don't need to put yourself in harm's range. It can also be used to cut locks, ropes, and amputate a person's limb in case of drastic wounds or perhaps because of seconds after being bitten on the hand or leg. With the heat that the plasma creates, it'll also stop the bleeding from the resulting amputation.

As for a real gun, I'd probably choose the Bushmaster Carbon 15 9MM Pistol. Large magazine capable of holding 30 rounds per clip. Light, small ammo that gets the job done without overkilling it and weighing the holder down. Since it's single action, you don't have to worry about wasting a large amount of bullets on one zombie. Overall, I really like it. The only thing I might add to it is a scope and duct tape a flashlight to it.

If you're thinking of flaming, maybe you should read the rules again. Besides, I have not done anything explicitly wrong to either you or to this site. Yes, I should have posted first in the introduction thread but I have now. I figured that I could have held off posting there after looking around the site a bit. After finding this thread, I wanted to post something quick before posting in the introduction thread.

As for the realistic weapon that I chose, I don't see why it would earn criticism. yes, it doesn't have all that much power but it is light and compact while at the same time stable with its two handed grip. It doesn't need too much maintenance and a scope can be easily attached to it to slightly improve aiming and quick scouting.

That was a joke, at your expense. However, I can disagree with what you say and is here what I disagree with;

Clips go in M1 Garands. Magazines go in AR15s.

First of all, what do you mean by overkilling it? A bullet will kill/wound you no matter what type it is, I doubt you will find someone here that doesn't want to carry a rifle of some sort in a ZPAW. Second of all, weighing the holder down? Dude, if you're preparing for a SHTF situation, you better be able to hold your rifle a lot, practice carrying it if you have to or work out more, there's no reason you should sacrafice a rifle round for a pistol round just because it weighs to much, not every rifle is a SAW or M1 Garand.

Since it's single action, you don't have to worry about wasting a large amount of bullets on one zombie.

First of all, it's semi-automatic. If it was single action, you'd have to pull the hammer or in this case charging handle back every time. Some AR style rifles like the new Ruger SR-556 have an adjustable gas block that could render the rifle to only operate in SA, but why would you if it's a semi? Not something I want to do if a horde is right in front of me. Also unless, you have a class 3, it better be semi-auto or it's illegal so that statement is a completely moot point.

Why not just use blue phone cord to wrap it on instead of duct tape? And lastly, you're paying the same amount, $1000, for a pistol 9mm that you would for a rifle of the same platform, wtf? To each his own I guess.
