We've been given the green light for another CPPP. For those who are new to this squad since the last one, CPPP stands for Crystal Palace Punch Party. It's one of the finest traditions Chapter 19 has and ranks right up there with an Arrowolf Brazos River Death Paddle.

Thinkfree has given the go-ahead to plan one of these epic events for March 24. The place will be at her house in Arlington. I know this follows close on the heels to the Mock Bugout in Proctor but oh well. Who sez we can't hang out together twice in a month? Cuz not all of us are gonna be able to make the bugout.

And what does a Crystal Palalace Punch Party consist of? First is M1lkm4n's infamous Crystal Palace Punch. We don't know what is in there besides the CP vodka. The mixer is something of a color green that does not exist in the natural spectrum. Or sometimes it can be pink. Everything else alcohol and non-alcohol are BYOB

Then there's food. Whatever you want to bring unless you are a first-time noob to a group event. If you are, there are certain obligations you must fulfill.

We haven't decided on the theme yet. The last one was an All-Night First Season of The Walking Dead Watch Party cuz that was back when I didn't get AMC. We'll come up with something.

More details will be posted as they develop.

River death paddle sounds like so much fun =(

Actually.. he kinda spilled the beans on the ingredients at Rugger's semi-homecoming. But I ain't spoiling the fun! Don't think I got plans keeping me from this shindig.

Jeff leaves that day so we might just stay up there after dropping him at the airport.

The river death paddle was loads of fun..........for the poor waitress at Chilis afterwards, Kay was a lightweight she only drank 8 glasses of tea, the rest of us went through considerably more. The last morning i filtered out 6 litres of water before we hit the water ,it was gone by noon.So Scoop you gonna join us on our next paddle?? I'll do my best to redeem my reputation and try to call up a storm  . Ask da boss about some of the storms we have paddled in

I haven't heard the story.. just sounds more interesting when the word 'death' is added. I'd down for it but never done it.

I have plans for bringing LOTS of booze for both hot AND cold punches. I figured I might as well bring something without alcohol, so I'll have queso as well. I'm counting on there being noobs there with their required party favors.

According to what I heard yesterday, there should be. I'm hoping Gunslinger and Lady Gunslinger will be able to make it. I sent them a message and got a definite maybe.

Me and the hubby will try and make it but we aren't going to promise anything. We really want to go, we just don't know if we will be able to find a sitter or not.

I think I'm in, but I've been pretty flaky lately so don't count on much. ;)
I'll keep an eye on the thread for times and such.

When you stop acting flaky is when we will begin to worry.

Anyway, thinkfree says around 5, which is later than our normal time but it's her house.

Anyone who doesn't know the location, send me a PM.

What do we need to bring? We deffinately maybe be able to probably swing by.

And whats the dress code? Are we in full ZS Battle Uni or grey man ZS geek mode? I need to know so I can coordinate my footwear.

I wouldn't want to be "that guy" and stand out. How embarassing.

I figure it's business casual, so I'll wear the G35 with TLR1. ;)

That sounds about right. I'll be in some amount of multicam, but I will be coming from a derby tournament, so I may not be in the full blown multicam tuxedo.

That sounds more like business formal wear. You know-black tie, black pistol, EBR.

To answer the question, the dress cose is gray man mode with optional ZS tee.

I'm thinking of asking the guy who wants to set us up with local businesses to this shindig along with their owners. Don't want to give them the wrong impression that we are a collection of gun nuts in camo even if we are most of the time.

Dragon Rouge is my age. But his Sci-Fi education is severly lacking.
