Zombie Squad

Hey guys, just seeing if anyone has any updates since the last meeting.

Blood Drive: Davo, do we have a day yet for their next blood drive? Slugg, any developments for the drive you're working on?

Dragoncon: Haven't heard anything from ZSC:001, tried contacting Apoc Rising again today, I'll let ya know what i find out

Dauset Trails Bluebirds and Bluegrass Festival: Slugg, I know you've made progress with this. Where are we now?

Tony Serano Century Ride: Has anyone talked with them about volunteering? Did anyone go to their last meeting? Has anyone submitted paperwork? We need to move on this soon if we're going to do it. We don't have much time to get ZSI approval.

March Meeting: We're still figuring out the day and time, but we have the location. Once again, this will be a core members meeting, as it will be held on a private property.

Officers: Requests have been sent to ZSI, waiting to hear what they need from us to transfer officer positions and what not.

Paperwork: Submitted the November meeting debrief (oops!) and the February Meeting debrief.

Fox Hunt: Tbrents, have ya heard anything?

On the Fox Hunt I emailed Kyle to ask about it and got this response:

"Tim,

I was hoping to hear from you. The fox hunt is scheduled for April
16th, but I don't have all the formal information ready yet. Please get
out the word so you guys can form a team or teams for the fox hunt.

What I can tell you now is that this is like a real life scenario where
there is a legal, cross band repeating radio on 2 meters high power which will
be found by driving around and taking bearings. Once you find the 2 meter
fox, you "learn" that it is a legal transmitter and the actual fox is on
70cm. You will walk around trying to find the source of the 70cm
signal. It may be someone crying for help, or it might be a pirate
station mocking you. Heck it might be a zombie. Who knows... "

I have not heard anything since.

On the Bike Ride I was at the last Walton County Ham Radio Club meeting since they are the ones providing ham radio support and we are still going to do that. I will be volunteering my services for this and I believe one other person from ZS was interested. I do not have any contact info for the bike ride people itself. If you wanted to volunteer ham services for this you should probably plan to come the meeting this month on 3-17-16 at 7:30pm.
