I know nothing official is planned, but I'm planning on at least being there. If nothing else, it's a good screening of several horror movies only available through limited publishing, with their 48-hour independent film fest.

Mara says she knows some of the people who run the show, and that some of them are or used to be with Zombie Squad. That said, there's a small chance we could still have a presence, but that is yet to be determined. When I go, I'll have the mobile table kit packed in my car just in case.

Sounds good. If you are able to/decide to table, just tread lightly. Like you said, it's not an official event. So HQ hasn't approved anything. If Mara knows the people who run it, and we have the interest in officially tabling next year, we can definitely keep it in mind and make it work next year.

Is any one else planning on attending Days of the Dead, even just to enjoy the convention?
Re: Days of the Dead Atlanta, February 5-7, 2016
I'm working this weekend so I'm not able to attend.
Just keep livin

A friend of mine said he saw some people in ZS shirts at the event. He spoke with you guys and told me about it. He said he will attend an event if he isn't working.

Sorry, was out of town. How'd it go? Worth trying to table at/partner with next year? We'll probably touch on it briefly at the meeting on Saturday.

For the DOTD event I put on a ZS shirt and Mara and I put out about 300 fliers and stickers across about 10 info tables. We asked, and they have a very relaxed flyer policy. One person we talked to said he knew Slugg from this group, which is great. Overall, it was fun to attend. Several "underground" shoe-string budget movies were shown, several with the directors there at the screening to answer questions after the movie. Right in line with how Zombie Squad was founded, watching and critiquing horror movies, this con is fun to attend.
