I'd definitely like to go, so long as I can get there from here
From Ghandi's essays "The Gospel of Nonviolence": "My nonviolence does not admit of running away from danger and leaving dear ones unprotected. Between violence and cowardly flight, I can only prefer violence to cowardice. I can no more preach nonviolence to a coward than I can tempt a blind man to enjoy healthy scenes."

I'm in. Any chance we can camp out on or near the range?

Not on the range. We could stay at Goodell campground which is only a 1-1.5 miles away. I could probably get 2-3 campsites reserved along the river.

Been away for awhile, busy with life in general, but just catching up on this for grins. 400 miles one way.. Hmm.. ouch! I just did 1300 miles to Idaho and back, but I took a week to do it! Wish I could make it. Maybe next year eh?

Have a great time!

I will be arriving on Saturday evening. Got a class that I have to teach at Cascadia Tactical that Saturday. I say we do Goodell Creek. But seeing that I will not be there but for one night, let my vote count for NOTHING!!! HA! HA! HA!

I would love to go up to Ross Lake, but it sounds like Goodell Creek Campground is going to work out best. It looks like people will be arriving on different days and at different times so going to a campground like Goodell will make finding eachother easier.

If anyone has a major objection let me know. I'm going to do my best to get us 3 campsites together. I think that sounld be enough space for all of us.

I've never been to Goodell. Isn't it right next to a major road? :(

It's where we did the last Wintergeddon. Right off the road. Let's do it.

It is off of Hwy 20, just west of Newhalem, WA. Most of the campsites are along the Skagit River, which is nice. The campground is also only 1-1.5 miles from a private shooting range I have access to.

I'm thinking we can shoot on Saturday. A couple of weeks ago I attended Extreme Close Quarter Concepts training with ShivWorks. While at the range I would be willing to share some of the skills from that course. What do you guys think?

I would prefer to shoot on Sunday and make a competition out of some of the range time. I have a few goodies that I have been saving just for the next chapter range day. But if everyone else would prefer to shoot Saturday that is cool with me as well.

I'm fine with Sunday or Saturday. If people wanted to we could shoot both days.

I guess it depends on what everyone else wants to do.

I have 2 set aside. I'm going to try to grab a third to make sure we have enough room for everyone.

I'll be rolling in early Friday evening. I'll be bringing some firewood, but it probably won't be enough for the whole weekend. I doubt we'll be using as much wood as we did during Wintergeddon since it's going to be a warm one, but better too much than not enough. So if anyone else wants to chip in and bring some extra wood, it would be appreciated.

Be sure to bring a little cash to pay back Big B for reserving the spots.

I have some errands to do in the morning, so I'll be rolling in Friday afternoon or evening. I'll also bring a bit of wood.

I have a little bit of wood I'll bring down. I'll be there early afternoon, so it sounds like I'll be there first (big surprise).
