MUST!!!!!HAVE!!!!!MECHA!!!!!!!
Three questions:
1. Will we see a piloted, fighting mecha in the next 10 or 20 years? We have new lightweight power supplies, light weight ceramic and composite armors and structural elements, force feed back circuits from powered exoskeletons and human form robots with bipedal locomotion. All of the pieces are there, we just need someone to put it all together. Not sure if it would be practical, but would be AWESOME.
2. What is a "gasoline fueled diesel engine"?
3. Dose it come with the Tank Girl looking pilot chick? Mushi, mushi. 私は日本が大好きです

I don't know if they will be piloted, they'll probably just make it a drone. That way you can have a soldier on the ground without their life being in danger.

Then they will get AI. Then. well... ahem. *insert T2 music*

Pretty funny... and yeah, gasoline powered diesel engine, what?

The whole deal made me think of tachikoma, more/less.

I'll take this instead, thanks :P

But seriously yeah that kuritas thing is insanely well done for a 'piece of art'. Gotta love the japanese obsession with powered armor!

From Starship Troopers to Ghost in the Shell, it seems RAH spawned an entire industry.

Looks awesome, as long as the battlefield is nothing but smooth paved surfaces with no potholes, obstacles blocking the path, or steep angles.
