What am I lusting after? Getting Earl set up right. I have some pretty interesting ideas for the truck, but finances won't allow for it right now.
Wouldn't it be great if all wars could be fought just by the assholes who started them?

Can't say that I'm really lusting after it, but it is a neat concept. With a 20mph top speed, I'd have to wait for better technology before I got my feet wet.

I'm lusting after some cheap way to replace the shocks, tires, and ball joints/tie rods/etc on my Jimmy, so I feel safe driving it offroad some more.

The ideal survival vehicle would be an IDI turbodiesel with 4 or 5-speed manual, 4WD, extra fuel tanks, and wrecker bumpers in either a pickup or van. YOu don't want to have anything that is computerized (Full Authority Digital Engine Control) because an Electro Magentic Pulse (EMP) will turn any modern car into a lawn orniment in milliseconds.

I'm currently swooning over a deuce 1/2, I've never owned one but would really love to have one. I don't know anything about them really but want to learn everything. Anyone have any thread links or other sites that I can get some more info on them? Do you have to have a CDL to be able to drive one on the streets?
