Hey, if you're gonna go, go all out. The Hardtop Edsel already has brackets for some kind of rambar/brushguard thing. It wouldn't hold up as well as the Imperial, though. Those are so tough, you can't even enter them in most demoltion derbies because they would destroy everything. Gas mileage on both would suck, though, and the Edsels don't have seatbelts .

Sorry about the terrible quality, it's all I have right now. The LeSabre is a fantastic daily driver and good on gas for a big sedan. I'd say it gets about 26 city and between 37 and 33 on the highway depending on speed (55-70 respectively).

Before you ask, it's a 289 with C4 transmission. The only thing left on this that's even close to being original is the chopped cab. And yes, it IS done, thanks for asking. I don't want any shiny paint or anything like that. My grandpa and I built it that way and it's going to stay that way.

Ditto. Those things come with almost 400hp at the crank stock, factor in crank-to-wheel loss and thats around 320 to the wheels. So to push 500hp at the wheels youd have to be making over 600hp at the crank. Thats insane, I can't honestly guess what could be hiding under that hood to make that kind of power. Engine pics! She's an '02 Toyota Tacoma with some suspension mods. She has also had the rear end stiffened up to handle towing. Not too much slows her down.....accept for a three foot rain ditch filled in with snow!!!
