What Happened to the ZS ARC?

Postby BEar667 » Mon Dec 19, 2011 10:21 pm

I have been using echolink to connect with NoAm and others on Sunday evenings, last week the ZS net was canceled. Okay says I, so I go and check the ZS-ARC forum and find it locked. What gives? I looked forward to the Nets and rag chewing with fellow ZS people. I remember two years ago it was getting started, thewn it petered out, then NoAm picked up the ball, people were getting into it and now what? IS it dead? If it is that really sucks.

Bring the ZSARC back guys, it creates a bit of community, even though we are 100's if not 1,000's of miles away.

There's nothing that says you need the ZS:ARC to have a net with your fellow squad mates. If you want it organize it.

I think Whisk.E locked the sub-forum to give everyone some time to cool down after a dust-up over the rules. Shoot him a PM for details.

What node and time?

Sorry for such a newbie question, but just joining and lots of old posts to go through:
Is there a summary on the communications club (ARC?) that one could read to see where ZS stands and one can jump in and contribute?

Thanks and 73 (ham speak: Best wishes)

There is a chapter section dedicated to the ZS-ARC.

We've been meeting on Sundays @ 7:00 Eastern. 6:00 Central PM.
Echolink node called U-Node. That may be changing sometime. Currently we are still hacking away at our club constitution, so we're not really set up yet.
