Anyone know the going rate on an sks with synthetic stock?
I was also told it has a red dot, folding bi pod, few mags, case and few boxes of ammo.
Not sure of manufacturer or if it was originally a wood stocked gun but just trying to get a ball park.

Stock SKS's are running around $300 on the C&R sites I frequent.

That; Norinco's in really good shape are 300 + accessories, Yugo's if you want one would be in the 250 + accessories. I personally hate the "SKS" mag, the one that you have to remove the fixed 10rd magazine for.

If you asking for advice; then spend the money and get a SKS "M" model converted at the factory (400-500 bucks) Or keep the standard 10rd fixed mag and get a butload of stripper clips and learn how to load with it.

Good Luck.

Thanks for the quick replies.
I was offered it but I have no interest.
My boss got it in a trade and was asking me if he got ripped off.
He's trying to get $400 for the whole deal.

We had one last weekend
but we didn't tell you because we thought you would just cancel, again.

next one what ??? Cove trip ??

I was going to plan one for this summer but it will probably be too sunny and hot

If I don't get into or decide not to go to Contagion in September we will definitely have one.

I do agree with some of the others, that socialization is great but we do need more "skill" time when we do get together !!

I'd love to actually be able to attend a "The Road" campout if you guys plan on doing one of those again. The first one sounded pretty cool.

What about a Deathmarch in March?!

Although, I don't want to wait that long for it to be the next event.

Beach march would be great for Assateague. $5 for camping up to a week. You can also kayak in. Downside - you have to pack in your own water, and it might be a mosquito-a-geddon. Bring plenty of deet.

I'd be up for almost anything. Just let me know when, Ramsey's Draft would work for me. Let's just try and schedule it before the bad heat really hits. Although I guess we would have to be careful about the rainy season also.
