I would also. I am out of Yucaipa, San Bernardino County. We're a good few hours away, though that should not stop some sort of get-together.

Tis true. When I go camping, it ain't no 2/3 day trip. I go for a week or three. We should schedule something for like Julyish. July of '07. But where?

I was thinking like Frasier Park out by Gormen. Any suggestions?

We are gonna be having a West-Coast Z-Con next July/August, if you are interested.

Sounds cool! We're all for ZS members getting together. That's what this is all about.

However, you might want to rename the event unless you get approval to use it by the board of Zombie Squad, Inc. We just don't want to confuse anyone and make them think this is an official ZS sactioned event. We're not there to monitor the event so if someone does something stupid we don't want to be liable for it. Know what I mean?

How about a couple of you STL guys (and gals) save up some vacation time and turn your wagons west for next year. We can't let you have all the fun to yourselves in the middle of the country, right?

That way, we can call it a ZS function, you can "supervise" and get to meet new ZSers. If you can get yourself to a west coast airport, I am sure there is someone here who would be willing to pick you up and escort you to the gathering. If I am able to go, and you can fly into either Oakland or SFO, then I would have no problem acting as driver.

Thoughts, comments, ideas?

Yeah, I know what you mean. Sorry. Do I have permition? Can there be a West-Coast Z-Con? Or will it be a meeting of the minds on the west coast?

What kind of training can you people bring to the table? I can do unarmed self defense lectures and practices, and I shot IPSC, but my skills of combat handgunnery isn't worth mentioning. I could ask my uncle for some pointers, and then share them, but that is about it for firearms. I just shoot what feels natural, and it serves me well enough.

Sounds good, for like an afternoon get-together. We could all get to know eachother. One thing though. I don't drink, nor do I want to. I know, kinda wierd, but as of recently, I just decided not to drink.....why, I am not sure.

West LA as well. Some sort of get together would be fun.

Kedyw, I grew up near Colton and went to school in Yucaipa for a couple years. Small world eh?

I'm up in Arcata for the summer. LA's a bit far south. Something in the Bay Area I could do...
