I'm thinking it would suck if you died (and you can die right) of tetnus you got from your own rusty crowbar.

Tetatus does *NOT* come from rust!!! It is a bacterial infection from a strain of clostridium which is found in dirt/soil. It sometimes occurs in infants born in filthy/squalid conditions because they have very little/no immune system, but in adults is usually caused by innoculation via deep puncture wounds, like one would get from old broken glass or an old nail on the ground (which is probably rusty just because, well, it's an old nail on the ground). Sixties junkies who never bothered to wash their needles or keep them in a clean place also got it a lot.
