Fences?

Is it just me (usually is) or is there like a plethora of useable weapon waiting for us in the destruction of fences and gates. On the way to the shops i pass 3 iron fences adorned with vertically held iron spears, all sharp or pointy. I rekonin a zombie outbreak ide run to the nearest church, they only get people to church by scaring them with thet "ure going to hell" crap, and they enforce the idea with gothic spires and pointy fences <-------POINTY FENCES!!!!!

Theres like 1000 spears on this one fence on the church yard outside my friends house, and in the event that zombies are like "aargghhhh" vs HOLY shit than i might as well stay in the church and live off rice crackers and wine for a while.

In all seriousness though tell me if anyone else would (in desperation) use an iron picket from a fence, should be able to pull one of the buggers out..

If you have a shovel a blowtorch and plenty of time maybe you could get one of them out.



But I think your best bet would be to get AWAY from any place zombies would flock too.


And never close and engage them in hand to hand or melee combat unless you ABSOLUTELY can not avoid it

If only there somewhere existed a lightweight, backpackable plasma cutter....

But you'd be better off just running away instead of going into a church. Besides the riots that will probably occur as people realize they are going to die and cram into the church, a church doesn't strike me as particularly defensible.

Even the devil gets in sometimes.

Although one time I saw a picture of a deer trying to jump over one of those fences. Impaled.
