A few possiblilities:
Post Apacolyptic (Day of the Dead, Land of the Dead,
Cannibal Gore Fest (Most things by fulci)
Initial Outbreak (Shawn of the Dead, Dawn of the Dead 2004)

Then we should have a way to rate them by zombie source type:
Biohazzard (Natural)
Biohazzard (Manmade)
Alien
Metaphysical

Ummm, Kyle? Isn't Michelle on her way to being a librarian? Don't they kind of do stuff like cataloging? Dewey Decimal? Library of Congress?

Wow. Forgot about this thread. Got busy. Someone else should take it over.

I hate the dewey decimal system. Michelle and her library systems can go find their own zombie resource to screw up and make overly complicated. I can find my own completely different system to screw up this list and make it overly complicated.

And Sandra Bullock, too! Doesn't get any creepier.

The tools of conquest do not necessarily come with bombs and explosions and fallout. There are weapons that are simply thoughts, attitudes, prejudices, to be found only in the minds of men. For the record, prejudices can kill and suspicion can destroy, and a thoughtless, frightened search for a scapegoat has a fallout all its own...

I dunno. I wouldn't mind being her snack...

There was also a film that showed up on USA back when they showed fun Troma stuff called Biker Chicks in Zombietown.

Fun, and tongue in cheek.

Good initial list, but IMHO the films House of the Dead and Return of the Living Dead 4 & 5 don't deserve to be there.

The information in those films would get you killed in the event of an outbreak.

-Beware! Children at Play!
-Curse of the Cannibal Confederates.

Both from Troma.

You got the Omega Man, but you missed Last Man on Earth (1964), though if those are like the matheson story they're based off of (I Am Legend), then they're technically vampires and not zombies.

Also, I Spit On Your Grave isn't a zombie movie, it's more Last House on the Left as I remember from watching it in my teens. Girl gets raped, heals up, then takes revenge on her attackers. Also, screw killing animals on screen it has some Lorena Bobbit stuff in it.

Shatter Dead has a sequel, called 16 Tongues, which I haven't had the chance to watch yet unfortunately.

Also you should throw down some love for the Sentinel (1977).

And does Dario Argento's Demons 1&2 count? They seem to fit as well. The creatures spread the sickness through infection, several times eat the flesh of others, so forth, so on.

World War I(and II!) zombies (kind of). I dunno if they'd be really called ZOMBIE movies, but Deathwatch and The Bunker are pretty good.

'Bone Sickness'

The only circumstances that you should view this movie under are...

(1) Suicidal.

(2) Are a fan of mocking movies MST3000 style.

Die You Zombie Bastards ...

Saw an article for it in Fango a while back and finally rented it from Blockbuster Online. My lord ... cheesetastic.

The creator orginally wanted Jim Varney as the hero of the film.

I guess "Zombie 2" really took some liberties with the plot and strayed from the zombie situation, 3&4 (Movie Insider Hint: When parts 3 and four are released in the same year, you KNOW it's gonna be stellar!) brought it back home.

is this list still going on?

if so, ashnack mentioned that 'street zombies' was possibly released by a different name, which was 'ozone' for its release in spain.

and also, should other names for movies be listed? I.E. 'Dead Alive' was only called that in the USA i believe. everywhere else was called 'Brain dead'-

i just think that might help anyone looking for it in a different country.

28 Weeks Later! I also did some research about 28 Months Later, and Danny Boyle said he might be the director of it. There's already a page on IMDB.com and they put it's release date on 2011 =[.

EDIT* Wow, no has posted in here for a good year, hah.
